"Spice Constructors is hot on the PS2 development front. While not working on any actual games, these boys and girls are working on the tools used to make the games, and their latest tool may end up being used by many PS2 developers world over.
New from the company is the ProDG for PlayStation 2 Version 1.2, an update to the company\'s September 1999 PS2 development environment. This new software allows developers to access more features of the PS2 and have better control over the multiple processors in the system during debugging. Weeeeeeeeee!!!! Additionally, the kit includes support for Vector Unit debugging, meaning more developers should be able to make use of the PS2 the way crazy Kutaragi envisioned.
So maybe we\'ll start seeing real next generation games from even the smaller developers out there."http://ps2.ign.com/news/29034.html
Great news!!This might also shut up many fanboys for saying PS2 will fail because its hard to program for(for the console I mean).
