Now i know that this is a hard question to answer, but just try! What is your favorite RPG of all time? I own FF IX and have yet to play it, so maybe that\'s my favorite RPG...but I\'ll never know untill I play it. I also hear that Lunar:Silver Star Story is great, as well as Panzer Dragoon Saga, Grandia II and Skies of Arcadia. I hope to play all these and more in the future.
Anyways, I would have to say my favorite RPG is Xenogears or FF III...they tie. Props also go to Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and FF VII.

That\'s a really hard question cos i love the RPGs( i\'ve wrote stories for RPG\'s like D&D and Vampire since i was a kid, so you could imagine how i love them :) ). Here\'re my favorites: FF VII, FF VI, Chrono Trigger, Xenogears and Chrono Chross. I couldn\'t decide which is the best and there\'re a lot more that could be in that list( can you say Final Fantasy? :p).

I\'m gonna play Final Fantasy IX in 2 months and, for what i\'ve heard about it, it\'s going to be at the top of my list too :).
Whatever

Im going to have to go with a nostalgic response and say....both the Shining Force games. Great stories, fun battles, and the ability to PROMOTE YOUR CHARACTERS! A feature that for some reason has been lost in recent RPG\'s, AND I WANT IT BACK DAMNIT. That was always the best part of the game when youd get to that NPC who would level your characters up, or get to a certain level. Oh yeah, Suikoden was really good too.

Suikoden 2 is my all time favorite RPG, and is followed very closly by the original Suikoden.  After that comes Tales of Destiny and Final Fantasy VII.

Ah.
Quest for Glory was a very good series.
I never played part 5 though.
Was it any good?
My favorite was either 3 or 4.
Very good games all around.

I\'m surprised you liked part three, most people consider it the worst of the series. Probably because the combat system was pretty crappy. I always liked it because of all the minigames/stats building excersising and the depth & personality put into the NPC\'s. Besides.. it\'s not often you run across an RPG with an ancient aftrican setting.

QFG5 is a good game, but not the best. I think a bit too much attention was payed to combat and not on Puzzle solving. The combat was very frustrating since all you did was repeatedly click on your enemies. Plus, you couldn\'t cast magic in combat without unequiping a weapon. The ending kinda sucked too. But the those are the only real downfalls. Most everything else is AAA quality.. expecially the music. From what I hear, the QFGV score was almost solely responsible for a whole new Grammy category, "Best Video game Music".

Most review sites gave it a 8 out of 10 average score. You can find the game for 20 bucks in most stores or from Sierra\'s own website, so you oughtta go pick it up. It\'s well worth the money IMO. :)
