good to know you got money for your birthday and that is possibly the coolest gift anyone can get because you can spend anything with money.

sorry about the video analysis.  i just made a comment about it without realizing you might get tired reading it.

Hi Paul,

thanks for the b'day wishes.

All i did was play guitar and some work based stuff.  Party will be on Saturday. So basically just got alcohol and money from family.

Thanks for the in depth analysis on the video. I was lost without it ;)

so what did you do and get on your birthday?  how are you doing btw?

on this song, i find the musical arrangement, instrumentation, singing melody, costumes the singer and dancers wear, choreography, hair styles, stage design, and lighting are pretty much perfect.  the singer has a good to very good quality of voice too.

the video was probably in 480i native resolution but it was upscaled to 4k to use higher bitrate of 4k lossy compression which should reduce compression of 480i on youtube which is cool.  the only strange thing about this video is that the aspect ratio isn't correct.  maybe because 480i has a resolution of 720 x 480i which is a 3:2 pixel perfect square shape aspect ratio but most 720 x 480i sources squeeze the pixels in horizontally to correct the aspect ratio from 3:2 to 4:3.  which means the pixels will be rectangular with the longer length in the vertical side of the pixels.  maybe this video didn't squeeze the 3:2 pixel perfect square to 4:3 aspect ratio during the editing where it was upscaled to 4k.

so that means the image will be a bit stretch out making the picture looks wider than the original size.

on this song, i find the snes remastered version sounds better overall than the nes version.  it has better instrumentation, much more soothing sound, and better sound quality than the nes.  the nes plays in wider keys than the snes i think but its not as pleasant or soothing as the snes remastered version though.

no problems.  i don't mind that nobody made me a birthday thread at all since i can make one myself and post the music that i like or not like for that matter here.

thank you for the kind words.  it was overall a good birthday that day.  my brother took me to mcdonald twice to buy drinks and i got big discount with coffee with the coupon with the mcdonald apps that day if i remember correctly and later use a different coupon to buy lemonade to get a free small medium pie that day.

before i went to mcdonload for the 2nd time to buy the lemonade that day, my middle brother drove to university to get his medallion for his graduation in nursing degree or something like that so it was nice though.

Happy Birthday Paul! Sorry. I've been MIA lately with the new job and all, trying to manage my business and juggle YouTube (none of it is going according to plan except my day job lol). Been trying to adjust to the new life. Had I been here that day I would have posted something. Hope it was a good day!

since nobody made a birthday thread for me yet, so might as well made one myself.  hope you guys don't mind.

on this song, i think overall, i like the nes version more as it plays in a wider and higher keys than the snes remastered version.  the snes remastered version has better instrumentations, sound quality, and soothing sounds than the nes though.

so what did you do and get on your birthday?  how are you doing?

i wish (e) a happy birthday too since he has the same birthday as you even though hasn't been here for more than 6 years already.

on this song, i thought the instrumentations, musical arrangements, and choreography are great while the singing is just like above average.  in my opinion, the singer's voice is a bit too flat.  i think her type of voice needs to have wider range to sound good to very good singing this song though but her voice is somewhat flat though.  but overall still a great song despite the voice isn't quite there.

sorry for the kind of late birthdays greeting as i was cleaning up the backyard, front yard, and the stairs this morning that i didn't have the time to greet you a happy birthday until now.  my middle brother took me to mcdonalds several times today because of the good coupon deals and we just got back from the gym.  the steam, sauna, and jacuzzi are still close while maybe the swimming pool is open though but i didn't bother go swimming.  so my middle brother and me went to the shower room to shower up before we went to mcdonald one last time before we went home which is just now.
