I thought the modem/ethernet adapter add-on was going to be sold separately from the harddrive. If that\'s the case then why are the letters "HDD" on the outside of the casing of the modem/ethernet that was shown at E3.

Maybe they\'ll take it off, who knows.

If the Hdd goes inside then how are you gonna know what it is? They just put that there for that reason.

I don\'t see your point. If they are sold separately and you don\'t get the harddrive then you\'d have this HDD symbol for no reason since you\'d only have that black box that houses the modem/ethernet add-on.
If you do get the harddrive then you\'re obviously going to know what it is since you bought it. Maybe I\'m just confused because I really don\'t see what you mean.

I think it\'s not important. The power is important and not the letters on the front ;)

They always put the name of things on SONY products. When you buy a Dual Shock 2 controller it has the name written near the L buttons, same thing with PS2. Its just the same thing.

yes vivi, but thats NOT the HDD it\'s the ethernet adaptor, well the HDD does hook up to the adaptor from behind, maybe thats why they did that?

I\'ll explain better........
The adapter covers up the Hdd so you cant see it, so they just put Hdd there. Its there because they just wanted to put its name there, like the DS2\'s.

I will get a Gamecube before I get the damn HDD.
