Here are my WAAAY too early impressions (after less than an hour of play) :
Well, I understand fully (I think) the concept of the dungeons and the town building mostly now... and everything seems very good... Graphics are some of the best on PS2, but a little spare at times, I like some of the character and monster design, I fought a neat looking 2d ghost thing a few times, and in the running demo the cat-like girl looks a bit kawaii.
Music and sound goes from moderate-very good, control is extensive, and gameplay is quite deep... Camera control can take some getting used to... and I can see they\'re going to have you doing some big time footwork in this game.
It\'s been real fun for the time I\'ve played, the cinemas have been nice, and the funny manga-like instruction screens are indeed laughter inducing.
All in all, if I HAD to review this game now, which you would have to pay me $20 to do, but I\'m going to do anyways, I\'d give it a 8.8/10 or so, so far.
