Title: Scratch!
Post by: eNeMyTooTH on June 01, 2001, 03:14:33 AM
Hey there, my playstation 2 is being a b!^ch :) and scratching my tekken tag and ssx games.. :(

My bro has some cd repairer, which only smudges ur disc and screws ur disc even more.. So i was wondering if anyone owns a reliable cd repairer and that they can tell me what it is and their opinions on it...

Thanks

go to a "cd wherehouse" type store where they sell used CD\'s

they usually repair scratched CD\'s for a few dollars

where the Hell you been, mm?

get the CD doctor or Dr. CD or something like that. You put the cd in a fan looking thing, works quite nice. But I think if your PS2 is scratching CDs, cleaning them is only asking for more scratching.

LOL!! Yeah MM!   If there is scratches on the CD, just leave it. Because you\'ll never get it out. Repair CDs kits will just make it worst.  :D

Nah, i only used the vertical stand once when i first played my ps2 the next day i bought SSX and overheard some shop keeper saying that vertical stands aren\'t safe.

But this only happens with Tekken Tag Tournament  i suppose that Tekken Tag Tournament is a faulty disc because also, my ps2 makes LOUDER noises and vibrates very heavily when playing this.
BUT my demos and SSX have No scratches at all..
Anyone else have a scratched TTT game?

I think your PS2 is crashed because it cannot be normal that a CD gets scratches from the PS2.
