No, Not me, silly!

IGN is off the air!! we all expected it, but now our fears have been confirmed. Seems all these sites are running out of funds! Too bad to all thsoe people who paid 10 bucks to be an insider or whatever that was. Talk about money down the drain.

WHAT??? I was just there two hours ago, and they had a message about how they were going to be shutdown on June 1. But once you click the link, you realize that it\'s just for a few days while the staff has some kind of annual party, and they\'ll be back open next monday.

If they are shutting down for good, then try an post a link to the story cause this news is totally from out of the blue.

And they have an interview with god (Hideo Kojima)!!

Edit: Just looked, d4mn the whole interview is only on Insider!
They only give you 2 questions for free!!!

Down the drain or not... THEY SUCK !!!

1. Brand new Infos only for those who have to much money...
2. No more movie downloading, but only that damn streaming $hit...
3. Calling ppl who are not willing to pay idiots...
4. Popupwindows... I hate those stuff !!!

Even if they do close, it doesnt matter too us too much. There is all the news here in this forum. Dont need to go anywhere else really.

Everyone gets news from all over the place and post it here. :) It saves so much time if your not in the mood for surfing the net.

IGN is one of the best game news sites on the web

I became an Insider since its only $20 for a year and it helps fund them and keeps them going

I enjoy knowing my 7pm PST update will be there

1 year ago, IGN was the only good games news site on the web. (OK, DailyRadar was cool, too) But now, other sites are good, too, so I don\'t need IGN because there are enough good german sites and great forums (like PSX2central)

Guys, seriously, check the link that was posted in this thread...this is in no way serious...they aren\'t shutting down.  There is no way to take the story as anything other than a joke.  So to those of you who like IGN, it\'s still up...to those of you who hate IGN (for some reason I don\'t understand), it\'s also still up...

how did you come to that conclusion.

They post screens movies, interviews, previews, reviews and the occasional opinionated column.Take it with a grain of salt like every other publication ever written

IGN has always been my site for news, so I am glad that they are not closing (YEs, this WAS a joke)

PS: Are the forums screwed up for anyone else? I Don\'t know if this is part of downtime, but every other division and post goes from backround = white, to backround = dark grey. It makes it impossible to read unless you highlight everything!
