I bought Rumble Racing over the weekend and have once again realized that graphics are much to overated and that gameplay is the way to go, and this game is to underated.
Do yourself a favor and hire it, if you have to. This game is amazing. The race is at 60fps and is extremely fast (Wipeout on wheels). It has elements of Wipeout (speed, weapons)and SSX (Shortcuts). Play a two player game and you will see that there is no slow down at all. Yourself and your mate can take part in a "co-op team" where you work on a point structure. You can also do tricks with your car which rewards you with a speed boost when you pull off your trick.
Good to see a game with some good fun gameplay coming to the PS2\'s way.

I think the most underrated game will be Klonoa 2, it\'s a really good game. but I think nobody is gonna buy it!

tekken tag tournament...sure its not original, but its still a great game. Its a rushed launch title, ported from the arcade, it wasnt supposed to be that innovative, just plain fun for newcomers, and veterans who wanted to fight with all those great characters...if you havent checked it out because of the bad press, do it, its awesome fun (especially four player)

Underated:I wouldn\'t know most ps2 games r hyped :) Oni got bad raps its a bit better then average (ps2wise)

Yes, all magazines said it\'s one of the worst games, but I think it\'s not a good game but interesting with this gameplay and the big levels.

Yeah, TTT and Shadow of Memories are definitly underated. By the look of things Namco is on the right path to bring the Tekken series back on it\'s feet.

Tekken Tag Rocks! It kicks ass i\'ve got about 40 percent of ps2 gaming out of that (40 hours?) It kicks doa2:hc with its moves, characters and sweet looking graphics, oh and the tag kicks..
I don\'t think TTT is underated at all, all my mates from work, collage and other own this and love it :)
Shadows of Memories... i read reviews and the story sounds twisted (i heard the endings Sixth Sence Worthy)

Sky Odessey is the most underrated.
Rumble Racing sounds a lot like RollCage if it\'s Wipeout on wheels.

TTT underrated??? is sold over a mln worldwide, how can a milion seller been underrated????

I find TTT far to slow, that is why I bought DOA2. You also have the chance to interact with the background. One thing I can tell you, is that I will definitly buy T4....it\'s looking sweet.
Yes, Rumble Racing has got a bit of Roll Cage, but it is not so frustrating as RC. Do yourself a favor and hire it!!

Right now I would say Dark Cloud.
Everyone said it was going to be boring and suck.
But right now, its so far one of the longest and most addicting games on the PS2.
That and DW2.

All kidding aside...a truely underrated game would have to be Dynasty Warriors 2.
For the heck of tossing it out there...Overrated...Oni.

I would have to say Sky Odyssey. I really hope they come out with a sequel for this one.

well, it didnt get the best of press...plus a lot of people have slammed it, and reasons it sold over a million...the franchise name...the fact it was the ONLY good Jap PS2 launch title, and its been out longer than just about any other game, giving it more time to sell

Dynasty Warriors 2, that game is far from underrated, it is terrible, gets boring quick and once you beat it you dont ever want to play it again

I haven\'t beat DW2 but i still think it\'s underated.
but before i explain why, let\'s define \'underated\'
i think we need two defenitions for underated here and some of you could be confusing this..
1. underated by the gamers: for that i think FF8 deserves the crown.
2. underated by reviews: it\'s propably DW2 as i know the gamers are crazy over it. it even forced some people to learn some things abotu chineeze history to enjoy it more.
rumble racing seems to be fun to play , but i think it\'s not a deep game like GT3 or midnight club, i got bored quickly from it.

The thing that makes Rumble Racing cool is that when you play a two player. You play as a team and work together on getting enough points to earn the extra championchips, tracks and cars.
The dificulty is so that when you win the championship you have high 5\'s and all kinds of expressions. My neighbour and I play this game day in and day out - it is not suppose to be deep like GT3 would be. It is a arcade racer. The fun factor reminds me of the Need for Speed series.
Do not be fooled by the graphics because the speed of the game really makes up for it. How many games on the PS2 actually has games running at 60fps - in my books the frame rate of a game means alot. For people who still don\'t understand what frame rate is, go play Tekken 3 on a PAL version and then on a NTSC version....y-o-u w-i-l-l s-e-e- the difference, it makes it fun when the gameplay is fast and furious!!...and that is what video games are supposed to be for.
