Well Vin Diesel actually can act, so I\'m waiting to see him in a high quality picture that will get his career going.  Boiler Room wasn\'t quite good enough.

However, the dialog they use in the trailer for The Fast and the Furious is so lousy, that I\'m not really looking forward to this.  Diesel\'s character says something like "I live my life a quarter mile at a time..."  WTF does that mean?  It really sounds dumb.  I like good car chases, so if this is reviewed well I might see it, but presently I\'m not planning to.

Would anyone like to vote for their favorite car chase movie of all time?

My top three are:

1.  The Seven Ups [1973]
2.  Bullitt [1968]
3.  The French Connection [1971]

They just don\'t make em like that anymore.

The Blues Brothers has my favorite car chase of all time in it.

yeah! that car chase rocked!
and it was funny,:D
in the fast and the furious i want that green supra.
the custom paint and the fin are awesome!
the movie looks like somthing cool to see.

Gone in 60 seconds has some awesome car chases especially when I hit the nitro and left the helicoper;)

Many of the shots John Landis put in The Blues Brothers were modelled after The French Connection!  It\'s cool, see it!

well i wanna see it but this movie seems like one for the car fanatics and i think this will have some bad ass cars and some bad ass stunts with them - like that deak with the 18 wheeler - that was awesome

bullitt has to be the best car chase the camera mounted on the front of was genius the 70\'s theme and the camera angle from driver and driver 2 were modeled after bullitt

My favorite car chase movie is Ronin.  The sprayed Audi A8 and the BMWs rocked.

The one review I read about The Fast and the Furious said that the car chase scenes were great, but the story was like a rehashed Point Break.
