So yesterday were the Big Science presentations, 25% of our grades.
Me and my partner were doing Dry Ice Bombs, all went fine and dandy for a while.
this is what we did:
Get a empty 20oz. bottle (plastic) fill it up with water and some dry ice, put on the cap and throw that thing out of the way. Well I did all that but my friend put in too much dry ice........The damn thing exploded in my hand breaking my thumb and numbing up my whole hand.
I guess its part of growing up.

Ouch. That had to hurt. Would of been pretty cool to see though.

I love doing that in my spare time! :)

Are you saying that your teacher was going to give you credit for building bombs? I wish I\'d gone to your school! Next time use ammonium nitrate/fuel oil for your bomb. They\'ll give you any grade you want, I guarantee it!
Sorry about your hand.

I agree with ViVi, that happens to me all the time. Yup, things are allways blowin\' up in my hands (oh wait, that sounds bad doesnt it)

at least it was only your hand. For me it was my head and it wasn\'t CO2 it was black powder.

But I have to agree with L-I-C, would have been pretty cool to see though! ;)
