Yes it\'s true.. FINALLY. Lst nite I went with my friend to BB cause he got a nerw comp there... custimized... so I brought home some info and me and my dad went there just before and I think tomorrow we\'re goin back in the morning to order it!!!! Here are specs...

AMD Athlon TBird 1.2 Gigz
256 DDR PC2100 Ram
40 Gig 7200 RPM Hard Drive
GeForce 3 Graphics Card
Sound Blaster Live Sound Card
I forgot speakers
17 inch Trinitron monitor
I forgot teh rest of the crap...

For a total of around $1500 Thats an awesome price for all that... TRIBES 2 AND COUNTER - STRIKE TIME!

how the hell did you get that for 1500. the gf3 is only already 400 and your screen aint cheap either.

make sure you have a 400w power supply to power your CPU and graphic card correctly, otherwise it will run at slower speeds than it can actually do.

Go to Best Buy.... they have the CHEAPEST prices, I will garuntee it... It\'s custimized mostly the whole way through except like the netowrk card and system bus but whatever...i wouldnt know what to do for teh system bus anyway lol.

Actually, he only needs a 350w PS according to AMD.  Hey FackinKubuss, that rig is almost identical to mine (http://www.anandtech.com/mysystemrig.html?id=4411).

Is that a brandname PC or built-box?

Please tell me you\'re getting Windows 2000 Pro on it.

Its not brand name.. its custimized hgowever the case is an HP... No Im not getting Win Pros.... I am gettin ME, what\'s the difference between them Rob?

I\'ve never used ME, but some people hate it and some people like it.  It\'s a continuation of the 9x series of Windows.  Windows 2000 is a continuation of the NT series of Windows.  All in all, you have more options for customization and security through Win2k Pro.  There is no more MS-DOS in 2000.  But get what you like.

That\'s a good price for that Geforce 3.  Are they throwing in any MS Office programs?
