Title: What\'re you getting?

With GC and Xbox coming out, I was curious to see how the PS2Central demographic is spending its cash.

I don\'t think anyone has done this yet, so go ahead and vote...

I\'ll buy a Gamecube in early 2002.   I won\'t be getting an Xbox unless it gets some games that are worth my money, which doesn\'t look to be happening right now.

I don`t know what I´m going to get. I`ll be getting one when there are no more PS2 games coming out that are worth my money which doesn`t look to be happening right now.

Both. I am unsure on if I will get an Xbox on launch day or not. I had previously planned to buy both a GC and Xbox on their respective launch dates, but after the MS Expo and E3 I am just not sure if I want to invest in a Xbox on launch. But, I will get a GC for sure.

Still, the funny thing is, I think I enjoy my GBA more then I have my PS2 . And, with the way things look, I will continue to enjoy it more then the other systems...Ahh..Good ole\' classic 2D gaming!

Well since I don\'t have ANY of the next gen systems yet, I\'d say my first priority is getting a Dreamcast and a Playstation2. Only after the Xbox and GameCube have been out for at least a year will I start to consider buying them. That\'s just good financial sence IMO.

I\'m planing on buying a Gamecube at launch. This is something I made my mind up on a while ago, and most likely I\'ll stick too that decision.

As for X-Box, its going to have to get some software I want, that I can\'t get elsewhere, as well as establish itself in the market as a viable console before I even think of spending my money on it.
In other words, I\'ll keep an open mind to the console, but I won\'t jump on the bandwagon to support it either. If X-Box proves itself, I might consider getting one in late 2002.

I will hate missing out on DOA3, but I\'ll have T4, VF4, and CvsSNK2 instead. :)

i would get a GC, but one of my best friends is definately getting one and about everygame for it (well, not quite), so ill just play his.  XBox, no chance in hell.  It has nothing of intereest to me (cept of couse Medal of Honour, but Ps2 is getting its own one) Now...a DC on the other hand is likely, but PS2 will have many good games by the time i have enough moolah to buy one

A new PC, and a Surround Sound system..

And lots and lots of PS2 games! :D

Both. They both have enough AAA games at launch and after to warrent purchase IMO. Actually, pretty much on par with PS2. I pity those of you forced to choose...

yes! I wanna buy a new pc and the best games for my "black". I don´t mind buy a new console.
