Title: Square Watermelons!

Have you heard about the square watermelons in Japan!  It\'s true!  They grow them in glass boxes to take a square shape.  They cost $85!!!!

Remeber that Simpsons episode when the family went to Tokyo?  They were joking about it then, but now it\'s true!

Agricultural science always finds a way to amaze me.

bah, anyhoo, square watermelons sound pretty cool.... it\'d stop them rolling anywhere... that\'s gotta be an upside right??

Call me zany, but my first thought, like Gradman, was "Cool, a topic about square watermelons."

Of course, it may have something to do with the fact I\'ve heard about these beforehand. :)

Growing square watermelons is cool and all, but I want a true seedless watermelon. Every *so-called* seedless melon I ever buy from the grocer always has seeds, damn it! Sure, they\'re little puny nothing seeds, but that just makes\'em
harder to sift out. :boom:

I think they call them square b/c it\'s short for squareD (as if that\'s an excuse).  Plus, cubic or cubed watermelons just doesn\'t sound as tasty. ;)

It would be awesome if they did gamecube like imac, making all different colors and designs (like a watermelon design).
