So you can play 2 players in a story type mode??? I hope so cause that adds to the fun of the game. Tuesday should be sweet with TMB coming out and NBA Street.

Anyone know how the soundtrack to TM:B is? I hope it has some dark ambient tunes.

Sony themselves told me it. The Australian date is the
30th of September so expect it somewhere in mid september... BLOODY MARVELOUS!

In Sonic 2 you can either play as the \'good guys\' and try to save the world, or you can play as the \'bad guys\' and try to conquer the world. The black Sonic is an evil clone of Sonic. I think it\'s kinda neat that you can play either side.

Lots and lots of jaggies and crappy textures, but graphics has not been what has made this game a winner. It has been the gameplay. And the fact that it is fun to play so I can\'t wait to blow some friends up.

i dont know where you see lots and lots of jaggies.... unless you want to try and talk SMCK about this game :)
screen shots always make games look a bit jaggie, and from those screens i hardly see any jagies sure they are present but i think you exagurated when you said lots and lots of jaggies, the textures are fine also.

Jaggies: Yes, a few.. But I dont care.. I wont see them when I play anyways!
Crappy textures: Nope.. Not like FFX, but not crappy either..

Well obviously your not that much into detail. Because the jaggies are screaming off the page. And anyways that is beyond that. It still is a fun game and I felt like saying because the jaggies are so obvious in the games.

I\'m a little confused because I don\'t see any jaggies screaming off the page. Besides, you can\'t judge the graphics of a game from a couple screen shots.

I hope XBOX is being sarcastic. Though there are jaggies, I highly doubt that you\'ll notice them in a game that relies on fast-paced and explosive gameplay like TM: B.

The only jaggies I see are in this first pic, and that pic is crappy looking compared to the others so I doubt it is new. And whats this about textures? BAH! XBOX you used to be sensible in topics but in this one you\'re not.

First of all I am not trying to bash the game I am looking forward to game actually and if you would read more than just the lines that you want to start a flame from you would had obvisouly known that. But I see you cannot even comment on something that is obvious in a pic without fanboys getting a hissy fit.

my name has nothing to do with the ability to see jagged edges in a game. I don\'t eve the point of this argument. I said there are some jagged is those pic and there are. What is the big deal. I was not adressing this too anyone or saying that is game is bad or that is not up to par. By frankly if you fanatics want to star a debate over something so trivial to start it with some else.
And the comment on my name bye frankly it has nothing to do with me liking ps2 or not. If I didn\'t like it I would not even post here I would not have bought 7 games for it. And payed a over priced amount for the unit.

I have seen this game in motion and it is not jaggie at all. Nowhere near the jaggies of some launch games. It\'s very smooth looking in motion and the lighting and particle effect are top notch. The textures are used sparingly but the game has dark theme and that\'s why it is dark or gritty looking.
Also PS2 screen shots always seem crappy because they are using a ATI card to capture the images. Same with GC. The X-Box is the only one that has very nice screens because they are taken from the development kits at very high resolution.

Actually XBOX I\'m no fanboy... I never liked Sony until they released the PS2 so dont tell me who I am. I always loved nintendo until last summer so dont be gay and call me a fanboy. I shouild be the one callin you a fanboy with that name of yours... go suck a big fat tonk!

When I first saw TM: Black on my opm demo disc video mpeg compressed, I saw very, very noticeable jaggies even the game run in smooth motion. I am not bashing PS2 or anything. The gameplay must be awesome doesn\'t matter if it have jaggies anyway. The MPEG runs at around 320 x 240 (4 times less resolution than it size) and i still see it and it was in motion not a freeze frame. But when I look at these gif compression pics, I see less noticable jaggies, even though there is some.
As if though they fix it but not by much.
It was obviously they didn\'t implemented anti antiliazing. But without aa, the pic couldn\'t have look this worst but because of no aa and interlaced motions together makes the pics looks jaggies.
Just my opinion.

well you see those opm demo movies aren\'t that good I think I saw the red faction one and it was blury but the actual game is not. I ahve ign videos you should try theirs. They\'re pretty clean and I didn\'t notice any jaggies that actualy damper the visuals. And plus some people blow the jaggies out of porportion (spelling?) you know they didn\'t say anthing about games like Shenmue for DC which has alot of flickering in the distance and jaggies but it didn\'t really hamper the experince or graphics.

Like I said earlier, cd format use MPEG-1 compression at 320 x 240 while the actual size of twisted metal is 640 x 448 interlaced. 4 times the resolution but because it was interlaced, it was really 2 x more resolution. The reason for most blurry games was because of low resolution but even in low resolution, i still could see jaggies. but it was fix up really good when in the final form. I also watch opm Winback video and i didn\'t see any jaggies but blurry due to MPEG compressed.

Know I did not get mine from the a retailer I bought mine from someone. So I ended up paying more than 299.99 for it. That is what I mean bye over priced.

Nobody else has gotten sick of Twisted Metal type games? I haven\'t had fun with a car combat game since the original Twisted Metal, and that wasn\'t even that great. The gameplay in these games really hasn\'t changed since the original, the graphics have just gotten better. I seriously think this series, and genre, needs to be put to bed.
