Title: PS2-Multi region?

:nut:Is the Ps2 a multi region DVD player like for example if i bought a DVD from America would i be able to watch it on my PS2 and is there some code i can  use to get past it if it is only a region 2 player coz someone told me i could but the are probably taling crap!:nut:

As standard the PS2 isn\'t multiregion.

However theres mods chips which can make it multiregion.

More importantly Datel are releasing a product at the end of this month which will make a PS2 multiregion without the need for a mod chip. Will retail for £19.99.

- PS All the above solutions are for PAL machines. Im not sure what the situation is with NTSC machines.
