I think that this is one of the best racers out on the PS2 at the moment. It\'s fair to say that the graphics aren\'t
anywhere near the quality of GT3, it runs about 35-40 FPS, but it\'s a solid framerate. The handling of the cars
is excelent! it\'s good to feel tyre degredation (have i spelt that right) during a race. i reccomend this game
to those who seek a chalenge and like changing conditions. This game keeps you on your toes allright,
on about lap 5 the tyres are going away and your braking distances change, Wheels lockup and you can easily
lose control powering out of the corners. The lighting has been used to good effect and a general good feel
to the game is present, i like it a lot. Also with all the TV coverage of the Le-mans 24 race on Eurosport has made
me want this game. In all, i\'m well happy with it :D

Oh, just for the record, Infrogrammes have incuded a 50/60Hz option. Excelent! (UK)

WOW!! You got the game? I\'m waiting to get this one too. Does it have the Porsche GT1? :D

Thanks for the info. Esp the 50 / 60 Hz bit, nice one Infrogrames.
Did they also include Screen Centering options? and can they be saved so you don\'t have to centre the screen each time (ala Sky Odyssey, but better than no Screen Centering options).

I have seen the GT2 versions so i believe that there should be GT1 versions aswell. the game boasts 70 cars
the only absent car is the Bently so all should be catered for :D

Sorry Rich, but there is no screen centering option, but it looks rather central on my tv. Yours may differ but
i see no problems this side.

Iv\'e just had the most pressureable race in the game this afternoon. The race started in partialy clouded sky\'s
but it was still clear enough for the sun to be out. into about 4 laps of the race, the clouds rolled in and it began
to rain. Now let me point this out, The rain can occur on one side of the circuit whilst the other areas can be free of rain.
Now i decided to go pit in, as this thing looked nasty, so i pitted at the end of lap 4 as some of other CPU cars did.
On leaving the pits the weather had deteriorated quite rapidly so i was happy with my tyre selection.
The race was very close as on lap 7 the tyres started to go away and in the final 3 laps this thing was hard to
keep in a straight line. Well i tell you now, i couldn\'t, there was one harpin that caught me out about 3 times.
Once the tyres went away i was struggling for grip with the 2nd & 3rd place guys catching me up. This was intense
racing i can tell you, These guys pitted a couple of laps after my pit stop so their tyres had more grip than mine.
This was one of the best races on the PS2 to date, I finally finished in 3rd (Damn hairpin) but i won the overall cup :D
The handling on this game is brilliant! also the speed is mindblowing. GT3\'s speed compared, is looking like an
old age pensioner on her way to the post office to collect her pension. This game is fast!

There are no Porsche GT1`s in the game because ea has the rights to porsche. The Porsche GT2`s are in there because infrogames got the rights to use them off the actual teams who own them. It doesnt have the bentley or any other 2001 cars because it has 98 99 and 2000 cars. I am really looking forward to this game too but i dont know when it is coming out in Australia.
