Title: PS2 problems

Hi I have just rented a PS2, to see if it would be worth buying one. As such I did not get the instructions and I can\'t seem to get it to work I connect the power and the scart to my telly then nothing when I scan the frequencys. Am I doing something wrong Please help thanks a lot.

when you say  "scan the frequencys"you arnt trying to tune it in are you?,because you dont have to tune scarts in,you have to switch to the input channel that it is in.
