:nut: i know this won\'t happen for years but what happens when game graphics get 2 good it will just look wierd won\'t it there would be no fun in playing the games. so won\'t the games industrty eventually have 2 stop making really powerful games consoles after a while:nut:

After perfecting graphics, the next logical step is interactivity. Yeah, two different games on two different future systems might look similar, but the extra power weilded by system B will allow much more interacticity. Advanced AI, Improved sound, complete freedom to interact with the enviroment, (I.E. Touch, smell, taste, push, pull, break, use, pick up, build, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in the game enviroment. From the largest building to the smallest weeds growing out of the sidewalk.) That\'s the future of games after graphics.

Not to mention that they\'ll be other graphic interfaces too. VR and other forms of player immersion. Maybe even Holograms.

Speaking of smell. . . does anyone have that smell box for their computer? (I think it\'s called "Ismell.")

I hope video games dont become TOO real (even though they will). Max Payne is a good example. that game almost looks photographic and is the only game that looks the closes to real life IMO. It wont be any fun once it reaches beyond that point. I thought the point of video games was so you can get away from the real world and play in your own?
