Title: Hardware ?\'s
Post by: Ryeman on June 19, 2001, 11:33:44 PM
I\'m planning on buying a PS2 within the week and I was wondering what "extras" should I get?  Can a PS2 hook up to the internet like a dreamcast? That is something a buddy told me I was wondering if anyone could confirm that?
                       Thanks,
                                   Ryan

Memory card. There is your big add-on.;)

You can\'t hook up to the \'net via your PS2 yet, so don\'t worry about that.

You may also want a vertical or horiztonal stand.

Just don\'t forget the PS2 MEMORY CARD .

Got any mates?

Then you gotta go for a multitap too. Dont worry so much about contollers cos you could pick up some cheap ps1 contollers, they work pretty much the same. Good multiplayer games - TimeSplitters, ISS, Teken Tag maybe Q3 and UT, but i aint played either of these

It can go online in November...I think (don\'t hold me to that). One thing you absolutely need is a memory card. My friend has had his for 3 weeks now...and he still doesn\'t have one. He gets to rent all of his games for free though, because he works at Blockbuster. Get a vertical stand or horizontal stand, too.
