He used a made up word: " equivalated " (That word you used in your post)

To me this shouts TIN FOIL BEANIE! right there.

Sorry I just write what comes to my mind first.  I don\'t usually look up words.  I thought equivalated means "a comparison to such".  Sorry!  Guess I was wrong.

ha ha ha!  The closet word to that is "equivocated" which means he used misleading language in order to avoid giving a definate answer.
