well since TMB has finally been released "and kicks godly ass i mind you :p" who has blown up what in the levels so far? and if you dotn know what i mean by blow up, i mean interact with.
I have blown up the ferris wheel, and blown up a zepplin, i try to blow up the 747 in the first level but it is a bit difficult, what have you guys blown up "interacted with" so far???
and if anyone has found a black cube tell me!!!

I\'ve found no black cubes, and I\'m on my 4th run through the Story mode. They may only be found when playing on Hard difficulty...
I\'ve blown up almost everything. The 747, the blimp, the ferris wheel, the giant pizza guy-thing on the first level, various building and solid structures, and um....that\'s all I can remember right now.
Oh, and so I don\'t have to post a new topic: Has anyone unlocked any secret characters? I\'ve only found Yellow Jacket. Does anyone know where I can unlock the others?

You guys are so lucky. I want the game bad! :( I hate waiting it\'s the worst feeling. now I know how you felt Unknown when you had to wait for RF.

SweetTooth\'s ending was....err....sweet. :)
That\'s what I like most about the Twisted Metal games; besides the great action, the endings are very cool and well thought out. Very few of them seem "cheap" or anything like that. Most of them are worth the effort you put into the game to get there.

just so everyoen knows im on lvl.5 with darkside, lvl.3 with Mr. Grimm, and lvl.2 with sweet tooth :)

Yes, they\'re FMV, and about a minute long. However, they\'re "still FMV," meaning that it\'s not animated. If you\'ve seen the endings to TM 1 and 2, then you\'ll know what I\'m talking about.

You have to interact with the environment some how. To unlock Yellow Jacket, you need to blow up some control panel that\'s hidden in the first level. It\'ll lower a platform in front of you, and you\'ll get the message "Yellow Jacket Unlocked." I still don\'t know how to unlock the others though.

Back to the blowing up stuff topic, this is what I\'ve blown up in the Downtown area.
You can completely blow up Atom Bank which leaves health and power missles. Facing the bank from the canal, there are 4 round things to your right just over the fence. Blow those up. Some of them will bounce over the fence and destroy the building. Very cool. :)
And just to the left of Atom Bank, there are two buildings that are connected by a bridge. There is a passage way in the base of both buildings, but you have to find it by shooting it. When you get in, there is an elevator that leads up to the bridge. It is a great sniping area. :D

I didn\'t know you could blow up the bank. I\'m going to have to try that in a sec. I imagine it\'s a big explosion, seeing as how the building is one of the biggest in the downtown area.
Oh, and I forgot to mention the movie screen in the "Drive-In Theater" level. It can be blown up too. Just blast the supports and it\'ll fall.

I FOUND A BLACK CUBE!!! It unlocks Minion\'s Stadium level. From the 2 buildings connected by a bridge I was talking about in my last post, fall from one of the buildings -- not from the bridge. If you cut the corner sharp enough, you will land on a platform that goes all the way around the building. (I think it\'s the right building you fall from, and not the left. I\'m not positive though) When you fall, go around the platform and you will see a big tea cup spinning around. Blow up the tea cup and the cube is inside that. The gamebook said the cubes were hard to find, and it wasn\'t kidding. :) I don\'t think it matters what difficulty you are playing it on.

Minion\'s Stadium would be awesome to play with 4 or more people all crammed inside. The destruction would be unbelievable!

I really suck at this game.
I\'m struggling to come to grips with the controls and weapons and special attacks. The game moves so fast there isn\'t much room for practice.
I did complete the 1st level with Junkyard and I\'m trying to have some resembelence odf success with him in the Suburban area, but so far it one ass whooping after another.

God damn i love the sky scraper level, it is sooo freaking exciting! :D My stomach does a 360 every time i fall of the damn roof top ! :D

Are you using the analog? If so, STOP! The analog sucks in this game. That was one of my problems when I first started. I thought the analog would be better than the dpad and face buttons -- I was wrong. The only help I can give you is don\'t use either of the analog sticks, and don\'t give up. It took me more than 10 hours to beat the second level on normal (it got a lot easier after I stopped using the analog).
This game is without a doubt the hardest game I\'ve ever played. It is extremely challanging on normal, and I\'ve heard it\'s pretty hard on easy too. I don\'t even want to try hard. :)

Yeah, the sticks sure are hard to get used to,
One controls speed the other direction. But after playing for 2 days, it is getting easier to control. :D

The analog sticks work well in TM: B, I think. Maybe not the right stick, but the left one sure helps a lot when you\'re driving through the huge environments.
If you\'re having trouble adapting to the right stick, then you don\'t have to use it. Just use the square button to accelerate, the circle button to brake, and the X button to do the quick-turn technique. Easy enough.

I was using analog then I switched to d-pad
Giving up is never an option for me, I may suck at TMB and I may be frustrated but if I wasn\'t then I wouldn\'t be having fun

I FINALLY got past level 2!!!!!!
After about 20 try\'s!
It is real tough but it IS beatable.
BTW I am on normal mode not EASY.
I also use the left stick/button combo.
I do not use the right stick for gas that just sucks.
Try doing that, it will help.
Also just start out shooting everything from a distance. And dodge like hell!
do this for a LOONG time and when you do get somone wore down to the red, hunt his ass down and stay on him until you blow him up.
Then run like hell again.

Maybe you can find the cubes in multiplayer ? You and a friend could just go hunting perhaps :) or pick deathmatch with only one other car. Or are the cubes only in the story mode ?

i opened the multiplayer warhawk lvl. by jumping on the big flattener thing, and it takes you up, shoot up the little bulding on the top and go on the platform, then look to your left, there will be a black cube floating in the air, go off and get it :)
i still have yet to get any characters, and lvl. 5 is hard!!!!!!!! iv must have tried at leats 15 times already and i have had 1 enemy left twice but by tht time im drain of all energy and im screwed lol

i think it has to be story mode, cause i tried to see on co-op and it didn\'t work

since everybody is posting in this thread, we might as well use it for tips, help, hilights, etc. that way everyone doesn\'t have to open another thread, i just blew up the big pizza guy :) and there is a black cube there.

Alright I need some help
Im doing the game on Medium I think ( story )
and i finally almost got past the first stage.
I got one guy left in red health and just lost one life
Is there anything i should be aware of in the first stage.
I blew up this big green dude and haven\'t found these black boxes people are talking about
Is there anything to collect before I kill the last dude

This game is lots of fun! I just blown up the ferriswheel and watch it roll and crush the city. I like doing that! :D

yea i just got the game about 5 hours ago
well anyway after tons of fun in multiplayer with my friend i have messed around with the game some more in story and i am now at Minion

Everyone is saying this game is so hard... and with only 5 hours under your belt, half multiplayer, you\'re already at level 4?! What difficulty you playing on?

Yellow Jacket is in the first junkyard lvl. You must use homing missles to blow up the plane flying around and it will crash into the side of the huge warehouse building, unlocking a sewer area with a small cpu terminal
Warthog (that thing with the flame thrower) is in the 2nd stage (Saburbia). Go to the ferris wheel and look to the left of it. There should be a smoke stack coming from that side. If you are in a slow car just run off the edge. If you are in a fast then you might have to brake in air. You will fall into a building with another terminal. Blow it up :D
Manslaughter (that dumptruck thing) is in the prison boat stage. After the ship docks go out the front of it and to the right. Right by the ships bottom there are a couple boxes. blow up the one on the left hand side to reveal a ramp up to the others. Once on top blow a hole in the ship to reveal another terminal.
Axel is on the highway or freeway stage (cant remeber). anyway it\'s the one with the two yellow cranes. blow away the side of the far left one and navigate the balls into a nearby wall to find another terminal.
I have heard that you need to beat the game with everybody to get minion.

actually you can find black cubes even on easy,i found one on the downtown board

There\'s a black cube on Snowy Roads that unlocks the Power Station level.
Look for a break in the concrete barriers that are perpendicular to the mountain. If there isn\'t one make it. Look before you leap and on the ledge there should be a black cube.
I can\'t give more details because I stumbled onto it later in the stage when alot of stuff was blown up.

That\'s cause there is no black cube up there, I\'ve been up there too, there\'s not suppose to me one there. Who told you there was?

There is a black cube up on the crusher thing. When you are on top, and if you are facing the gears for the crusher, turn 90 degrees to the right. It will be floating there just off the crusher.

- the big screen in the drive in theatre
- the ferris wheel (very cool :D )
- I made people get elctrocuted in the prison level
- train tracks (then the train starts coming out and hit the ground and blows up :) )
and thats about it

If you get tired of getting killed you can enter god mode
holding down all four shoulder buttons then fast on the direction pad
right left down up. :)

actually there is one up there, but i wasnt in story mode, you have to be in story mode
and one more thing, how do you blow up the plane on the first board, none of my missles are fast enough to catch it

That isn\'t true. It was an already junked up plane that I went into. No crashing, no blowing up. Like Bozco said, my missles weren\'t fast enough so I said, "Screw it", \'cause I just kept getting killed trying to take the time to get it done. Anyway, I was just driving around and there was this section I never was in before. It was an old airplane near one of the buildings that led to a sewer place that held Yellowjacket.

Are you sure about that MM? I don\'t think they would make you do it in a certain order. Just look for it where I said to look for it before.
And the plane does have to be blown up. For those of you who say it was already blown up, some one else must have blown it up before you got to it.
The place where you should blow it up is when it is over the "garbage canyon." It\'s that canyon where the building is on one side and there are 3 (I think) piles of garbage. You have to be above that canyon to be able to hit it. Go past the energy refiller, up behind the fence, and there should be a has can powerup floating in the air off the edge over the canyon. It is there where you wait for the plane. After you shoot it, it will fly around the level once and crash down in the canyon.

BigDaddy, I don\'t think that code works. I wanted to tour some locales just to look at \'em (can\'t stop and smell the roses at all in this game! :D )and I was gonna enter that code just to peek around. It was a no-go. Have you tried it or is it just another RedFaction type RedHerring?

Well ive blown up the blimp, plane, pizza guy, and all the others already mentioned but...
- on the freeway one shoot cant remember the name but a train drives around the map if u blow up the bridge u can watch the train crash oh how sweet
- also on the prison one u can make the draw bridge come down if u blow up either booth on either side and there are some good weapon upgrades there

The invincibility code is hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and quickly press Right, Left, Down, Up.

while game is playing, not paused
Hold- L1 R1 L2 R2
while pressing: up, down, left, right, right, left, down, up..
a message will pop up saying invulerable on or enabled or somethin.. i used it to unlock the levels unlockable be reaching certain kill totals in the endurance rounds..i didn\'t want to pain myself with reaching a particular number..i figured i unlocking the secrets over with and just enjoy myself afterwards..
anyway..
the suburbs are real easy on any mode..
go to the carnival grounds and launch yourself off of the hill with the gas can pick up..land on the roof of the warehous facing the ocean(two items of interest are close by, but that\'s another story)..turn and jump to the roof on your right..then just race over, without jumping, to the roof next to that, which should be a small roof slanting up..turbo off this roof onto one with a health and homing missle pick-up..
where does this place me, you ask?
on a nice suburban vista with a great view of the town..you can smooch your girlie or pick-off unwilling targets..you\'d be surprised how far your missles are accurate from..you\'ll also spy the secret as to what the fellow drivers are doin while not firin rockets up your tailpipe..yeah, that\'s right..just sittin there..hmph..seems more like 8 on 1 than the giant rumble Calypso makes it out to be

if you wanna score some extra damage..drive into the back tire of the opponent and force him into a donut..just keep drivin him in a circle filling his panels up with machine gun..if you\'re good you can do cause him some major health risks..i\'ve drained half a life bar in one go with this..it\'s hard but if you can do it your opponent will be helpless, totally unable to escape

Again, my problem is the dissenting opinions... two codes by two different people. I\'ve tried them both, and neither have worked for me. Oh well, I guess I\'m not doing either right. :D

how do you turn on the powerbox in the sewer thing?

when you blow up the green sign on the junkyear it makes a ramp to the thingie that goes up and down... there a black cube right off the edge of it that unlocks minions stadium

Vivi, I think you gotta blow it up, either with yer guns or a missle.
