I just wanted to know if you had any info about what tech demos Sony showed when PS2 was first announced??
Ive seen some pictures.. But I really want to see some videos :)
Ive only found this site..
http://www.gnn.ch/videogames/Playstation2/hardware/demos.shtml
Does anyone know where I can look at the more advanced once?
(Like the landscape, old mans face (built up by 100 000 polygons), and the water demo!)
Thanks! :D

I\'ve got some of the Tech Demo movies too. There\'s one with a clip of all the 3rd party demos running on PS2 hardware. (Tekken Tag, Crash, GT3, FF8 Ballroom, Bouncer, RR5.. ect. All look crappy after seeing the final product) Then there\'s three in QT format, and all with Phil Harrison giving a commentary. One is the Birds demo (hundreds of birds flying in a fractal pattern), one with two heads joined together with psycodelic colored light looking things comming outta them, and one with the Hourglass, Lamp, and table which shows off the PS2\'s reflection and transperancy prowess.
I\'d like to get some of the others like the fireworks, fluff balls, graveyard, kitchen sink, ect.. but I just don\'t have the time or room for em. You can get the ones I have over at Gamespot. Just do a Google search for "Playstation 2 Tech Demo movies".. and Gamespot\'s site should pop right up.
