hey i cant find this one on the net anywhere its:
eztext.dll
if anyone knows where i can find it or what its for please reply
thx

I assume you\'re getting an error message that says you need it? It\'s probably a part of whatever program you\'re trying to run that\'s generating the error message. It\'s not a part of Windows, so you won\'t find the file somewhere on the Internet. Just uninstall and reinstall the program that\'s creating the error message.

yes....... u see i dont know wich program has the problem

I looked and I don\'t have it.
If you know anything about registry you can open it up and do a search for it. You may be able to figure out which program it is from. If it\'s a program you don\'t have anymore you can get rid of it. But don\'t say I told you to mess with your registry.

You\'re getting an error message, right? You haven\'t confirmed that yet.
If the error message appears right after windows starts, then the dll is probably being called by an applet that loads automatically. Look at the startup tab in msconfig to figure out what applets are loading. This should narrow it down. Applets can also be loaded with entries in win.ini, so check that also.
If you\'re not seeing the error message until later in your windows session, then it\'s even easier. JUST PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU\'RE DOING WHEN THE ERROR MESSAGE APPEARS. Something you clicked, or a program you started is calling the dll. Should be easy to notice which one it is.

I\'m missing some DLL file when my computer starts up. Called Gateway, they can\'t figure it out. So I just click OK, and never have any problems! (Knock on wood.)
