Damn, that\'s alot of money to play one game. What price is it in Japan?

this is no ordinary wheel
This is forcefeedback
2 years ago you couldn\'t find a decent quality FF wheel for the PC for under $200
and I would pay $200 for the FF wheel for GT3 if thats what they wanted for it
I would never consider playing GT with a DUal SHock. To me the Dual Shock compltely ruins the GT experience.

damn thats so much, i want an awesome wheel so bad!
also its kind of off topic but will gt3 have a rally mode? wheels kick ass so much in rally
-
Damn. That probably means it will be about $250 in NZ.
But like ddaryl said, it doesnt matter. It will be worth it.

I was thinking about getting the wheel, but I am not sure as to how it\'s mounted - do you need a table handy? Are the pedals mostly plastic or metal?
-
I\'m not sure about the pedal wether their plastic or metal or some other polymer
but I\'m sure the FF wheel will be table mount
I bought $100 worth of lumber and building supplies yesterday and I will be building my gaming table that will be used in conjunction with my gaming reclyner

That an excellent idea!
I figured that the wheel would be a table mounted one, so I wasn\'t sure whether or not to get one since I don\'t have a decent-sized table anywhere near my TV, but I think I might adopt your idea of building my own custom GT3 wheel table.
Thanks ddaryl.

Don\'t forget to include the appropriate "cup" and/or "clip" holders ;)
One question...and I\'ve yet to see this suitably addressed: Will Logitech\'s wheel be "backwards-compatible"? By that, I mean that I understand that "older games" that are not programmed to support Logitech\'s forced-feedback will not therefore utilize it...however, does that nonetheless mean that I would be completely unable to use the wheel (ie. left & right turning, etc....basic steering) on older games that I own such as Nascar 2001?
I have read that there will be upcoming games that will support Logitech\'s FF wheel...and therefore, your investment will be enjoyed for more than that of GT3 alone...

Yeah I\'m making mine so the table actually has a hinge and can be lifted up to easily walk in and out of the chair. I\'m also including a latch so it doesn\'t move while gaming.
On top of this it will serve as a keyboard mouse table and a dinner table for my reclyner, among other periphials
I plan on making nice enough so my wife won\'t mind having it in the living room
