I should clarify - I mean with the next generation of consoles (ps3 ect..)
With the ps2 I feel that the biggest advancement, despite all the promises of emotion and what not, is the ps2\'s ability to create truly huge worlds.
I also feel that a major improvement was in resolution. I may sound silly saying this but some psone games would have looked just like first gen ps2 games on that bleemcast and this is due to resolution. There aren\'t more polygons or anything, just a better resolution.
So... What will the next big advancement be ?

I think the next generation of consoles will have like you said a bigger worlds, but with much more detail with heavy actions taking place with more smother frame rate all at the same time. This must take place on the next generation. That\'s the goal! :D

Probably more realistic....but I would like to see a total dominance of the online world from videogames, make a world of online gamers, like on all big happy family.

i think it might be interaction and virtual worlds...... well maybe im thinking ahead to far.

well interaction seems possible
like in the way that you could interact with the world more in games - of course there will be more realistic graphics - also i think there will be games were your voice controls stuff - more so than seaman more advanced - heck who knows what just don\'t expect it to be like those PS9 commercials we still have 34 years before that happend :D
