Development on Koei\'s latest PlayStation 2 project, Dynasty Warrior 3, is reportedly progressing smoothly. Originally unveiled at E3 and now said to be approximately 65% complete, the game remains on schedule for release this fall. New to the series will be a two player mode, and a charge guard system. Check out the new screens and sketches below, expect more details soon.

Seen the screens before, but I still want the game more than ever. I\'m already drooling at the thought of the 2-player modes.

Thanks Boz, I had only looked at the shots offered on this thread...had not read the original quote that Jeep had included. While 2-player will definitely be a boost to the game as a whole, being a 35 year old gamer, and livin\' in the semi-boondocks, I don\'t have many opportunities to play vs. another breathing competitor -- can someone say, "Thank God for Online-gaming!" -- not that DW3 is intending to have that capability or anything, but I bless each and every developer that is willing to include O/L gaming in their upcoming PS2 games.

they look decent and are only 65 % done.
