Yeah! Sure the game can be considered pure cheese, but it\'s an excellent change of pace from the norm.

Your damn right. It\'s pure CHEESE!! Send this title to the Game Cube. This game is good for the kiddies! I don\'t know what the big deal is, I played the demo and thought this would be perfect for N64. Too childish for me I guess.

The original game was awesome. Even after something like 4 or 5 years, I can still remember a few lyrics from the songs.
"Alright, we\'re here... just sittin\' in the car. I want you to show me that you can go far. Step on the gas."
"Step on the gas?"
"Now step on the break."
"Step on the break?"

as for parappa, that was just an endless source of amusement. It was only timing the tapping of buttons, but hot damn was it ever fun... i can\'t wait to see how this one turns out, i was always a fan of the 3D backgroud 2D character graphics of the first two

hahahaha.. The 2nd stage in Parappa was always my favorite song. It had that cool as hell beat.. Can\'t wait for part 2. Um Jammer Lammy wasn\'t as cool as that damn dog! :)

I don\'t really think this game is cool in any way, shape, form, fashion, dimension, and/or being. Maybe if I was a little (a lot) younger. Oh well...maybe I\'ll buy this one to keep the little kids out of my hair when they come over.

I figure it appeals to the child at heart. (Not to be confused with one\'s inner child.)

Here\'s an update from Gamespot:
Sony releases new information on Parappa the Rapper 2.
Sony Computer Entertainment opened the official Web site for its PlayStation 2 music-rhythm game Parappa the Rapper 2. Parappa and his friends PJ Berri, Milk Can (the band from Unjammer Lammy), and Sunny Funny will take on the Noodle Group in this sequel. Parappa Papa and Sunny Funny\'s father also appear as new supporting characters, playing an Abott and Costello-type role. The game now lets you have a practice session before you perform your rhythmic act with the teachers, who are Hairdresser Octopus, Chop Chop Master Onion, Instructor Moosesha, Beard Burger Master, and Guru Ant.
Parappa the Rapper 2 is due August 30 in Japan. A North American release date has not been announced at this time.
