So Im in EB toay, just talkin to one of the guys about games.
During this conversation, I mention that I wish I could get Final Fantasy Cronicles, but my PS2 wont play PSOne games anymore or DVD movies.
So he said, If I pick up there warranty I would just get a new one if that problem arouse, and I said, Yeah next time Im deffiantly picking it up, so he says, no I mean if you buy the warranty now, we will give you a new one.
I then procedded to tell him that I didnt even gt it from EB, and he said, oh...that doesnt matter just bring it in.
So I got a Brand new PS2 with a 2 year replacement warranty for 5 bucks.
Im stoked.

Lucky you. My 2-year warranty cost me $50.

If I would have bought a 2 year warranty, it would have cost me $40 from EB. How come yours was so cheap?

I meant 50.
My keyboard isnt typing right.

Well, I think you should be saying that the clerk was awesome instead of EB since I\'m almost %100 sure that\'s against company policy. The whole reason they do that is to increase sales and make a quick 50 bucks in exchance for some "insurance" you, in most all likelyhood, won\'t be needing.
Maybe the warranty was only supposed to cost $40 and the clerk went ahead and pocketed the other 10. Or maybe he just pocketed it all and found a way to write up new warrantys without the higher-up\'s finding out.
Either way it\'s a good deal. You get something, he gets something, and most likely EB won\'t loose anything.

I think $50 for a 2-year no questions asked replacement warranty is a very good deal. Makes me think...
