Title: This really sucks!
Post by: fastson on July 03, 2001, 05:22:20 AM
Yeah! This really sucks!

My PS2 might be broke :(

I just bought the german movie "Stalingrad" and my littlebrother bought Titan A:E..

When I played Stalingrad, the movie stoped for a few seconds, and skipped alot.. This was in the beginning..
After a minute or two of constant skipping the movie played on without any trouble...

But when I "popped" in TITAN, the movie skipped all the time..
Then it stoped... (froze)

I got pretty mad, so I pressed the Eject button, and turned of the console.

Then I tried playing Titan on my PC..
The DELL DVD program didnt want to play it..
But the MS one did..

It worked pretty good. (though the picture quality was **** and so was the sound!)

So now Im gonna call the store where I got my PS2 and ask them if they can replace it..

Any thought??

Oh yeah... I bought my PS2 on launch day here in sweden.. Some of those PS2s were defected or something..
Mine prob. is too..

Try turning on the Diagnostics.

also

The Gameshark "dongle" has been known to cause problems, remove it (if you have one)

Nothing like a fresh PS2. It\'s good to see that some people are willing to exchange broken PS2\'s without
any hassle. i reckon that yor\'e one of the lucky ones fastson.

Man, i can imagine getting GT3 home and then it not working.
It would be like someone had robbed your house on Christmas Eve.
Luckily, i havn\'t had any problems with mine so i\'ll keep em\' crossed.

It was a german movie? And a military movie? Is this the beginning of a new war?
