I thought you said videogame, not videogames.
If I had to pick one:
FFVII
UPDATE: I see that you pruned your list! ;)
-
FF8
-
Final Fantasy X
-
simpsons wrestling
-
LOL, Simpsons Wrestling.. hehe.. It\'s a good combo.. Never played it.. Is it any good? Anyways.... My fave game is probably Tekken 3. Hours................................................. and hours............ playing that game.
-
It will be GT3!! :D
-
never played it i\'m just silly sometimes.
My fav game changes all the time so I can\'t really say a fav. As far as most time spent on a game it would probably be tony hawk 1 on dreamcast.

Final Fantasy 7

Final Fantasy 7 is my fav game now, but final fantasy 10 will probably be my fav when it comes out.
-
Metal Slug or Samurai Showdown damn, can\'t decide. :D
-
FFVII... i think im gonna go play it again.

FFVII

Secret of Mana

The Quest for Glory series. If I absolutely had to narrow it down to just one though, it\'d be QFG2. Engrossing atmosphere, awesome storyline, clever puzzles, cool monsters, and the absolute best ending of the series. It\'s graphics and interface however.. well.. most people don\'t like em. Personally, I prefer the Text parser to the cursor because it draws you more into the game.. and I can overlook the fact that it\'s in 16 color EGA. (Although it\'s an absolute MASTERPIECE of EGA art.)
The one feature about it that I most like is the ability to save off your character and import him into the next game of the series rather than starting fresh from scratch every time. I wish more games would let you do that.

Quake 2 on the internet for the computer.
I have spent SO many hours playing that game per week for the last 4 years it\'s not even funny.
I average about 2000 minutes per week on that game....STILL
-
I\'d have to go with
Monkey Island 1 or the Championship Manager series
although Metal Gear Solid is close behind in my book
-
Cannon Fodder on the Amiga.
-
Sonic Adventure 2
It may be short, but it\'s so perfect.
The graphics are the best I\'ve seen on any platformer on any system to date.
The stages are brilliant. Green Forest is worth the price of the game by itself. Metal Harbor, Final Rush, and Pumpkin Mountain are pretty cool too. (Haven\'t played the Dark side yet)

Hmm its funny how theres a lot of you mentioning sequals and games which aren\'t even out worldwide yet, ala GT3.
This is best game EVER and surely a sequal will be low on originality, robbing it of the best game ever, although it still might be great.
Anyway mines HEAD OVER HEELS. A adventure based in isometric 3d where you control two peeps with different attributes.
And post PSX launch I would say Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 (a sequal yeah but theres not too many skate boarding games before Tony Hawks).

Xenogears takes all!!!
It has the deepest, best, and also most complex story out of any game I have ever played. What an incredible game!
-
Virtua Fighter 1
One of the most innovative beat\'em ups.
-
Resident Evil. This game is SOOO awsome. The all the sequels aren\'t even half as good. That, and Silent Hill.
-
Tekken Tag!
-
I do own GT3 I have the import PS2 and GT3.I have had Gt3 for about a month and it\'s great!
-
What currently your favorite system
-
The best videogame of all time is Metal Gear Solid. I\'ve played that game soo many times, I think that I have beaten it about 15 times.

anyway my fav is a tie really btwn
Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana...no surprise really
-
Radiant Silvergun and NIGHTS 2 (with analog controller) for SATURN, the best console of all time.
-
Zelda: A link to the past
-
XENOGEARS.
Stand tall and shake the heavens!
I\'ve read very few books and seen even fewer movies with such a captivating storyline. The music in the game is bar-none the best in any videogame ever, the only game even remotely in the ballpark soundwise is the great Chrono Trigger (both done by Master Mitsuda). Very adult, very original, very fun, very long, and very exciting.
If Xenosaga is even half as good, it will still be the second-best RPG ever.

Final Fantasy 7

Either Zelda: ALTTP or Zelda:OoT I hope ALTTP is on that 30 game Mini DVD that Miayamoto is making. I only have a rom of ALTTP.
-
Final Fantasy 7
