Naw, I ain\'t pissed. I just wanted to tell you I got PSO tonight and I\'m lovin it. The game is some mad fun. So I was wondering when you were going to get a DC and PSO so that we could get that QFG clan going? What are your normal hours.. and do you want me to start a Meseta trust fund for you at the bank so that you can get some good armor and weapons right from the get go?
Also, when you do plan on getting the game.. make sure you buy a KeyBoard with it also. Words can\'t describe how much of a relief it is not to have to type with the control pad anymore. :)
BTW: To anyone else here who has PSO.. I\'m Tesla Al-Rashid: FACS Local 5562 (or something like that.. not sure of the numbers right now). I\'m a HUmar with blond hair, a purple suit, and a big ass frying pan!!

Ethan: Definately get it. It\'s an alright game offline.. but once it goes online it\'s a blast. The only thing you have to watch out for are the PKers. (Player Killers, cheaters who will you and take your stuff) But I\'ve got a GameShark now, and with the AntiPK code I\'ll be able to backup all the stuff you really wanna keep in case that happens.

My hours are late too. Usually from 11pm to 6am CST depending on when or how late I have to work.
I dunno if I can buy you sit, but I can buy all kinds of phat armor and weapons. Not to mention I\'ve got all kinds of goodies given to me by GameSharkers my first night that I could pass along.
56k works great. (Even with QIII surprisingly!) Most of the time you won\'t notice any lag. Once in awhile you\'ll see everyone freeze and you won\'t be able to talk for a few second but that\'s about it depending on the day, the traffic, and your provider. Some nights I lag like hell.. others times I can play a flawless game for 6 hours. I don\'t really think Seganet improves things that much. As long as it isn\'t a Free ISP like NetZero.. your normal ISP should be fine.

I don\'t know if you can sign up for SegaNet anymore, as they are going over to Earthlink next month.
But you shoul definetly try. Me and SonyFan were up til 6:30 yesterday playing.

I\'m NeoSega til I clear out my other VMU, then I will think of a good QFG name.
Earthlink is SegaNet, now. It is the preferred ISP to use SegaNet, but not necessary. You can still use many of the other guys. It\'s 20 bucks a month for unlimited.

Thats about as cheap as your gonna get. I get my SegaNet for 9.95 a month! hahaha

I don\'t know who I am gonna pick. I am gonna play QFG 4 or 5 tonight and see who resembles me the most. or my sense of me at least :)

Im confused, How exactly do you play PSO, Ive never had it adequetly explained to me.

Yeah... yeah.. I\'ll be Salim. Soon as I can find a tiedyed HUmar costume I\'ll be right there. :p And I wouldn\'t exactly say we we\'re playin till 6:30 in the morning... more like we was chattin till 6:30. I think we only "played" about an hour total.
Faith, PSO is a lot like Diablo (tho I wouldn\'t know for sure since i\'ve never played Diablo) What you do is create your character from 9 preset character types rangeing through 3 classes. (Hunter, Ranger, Force = Fighter, Gunslinger, Magic User) basically. Although if you want to be dic you could also be a theif too. :D You then alter his outside appearance through a wide selection of different alterations.
Once you create your character you can take him online. The servers are called ships, which have blocks to spread out the strain, and those in turn have lobbys which are like chatrooms that you can walk around and meet people in. Once you decide to get a game going, you can go to the information desk and either join a game or make your own. This transports you to the Pioneer 2 ship in the game. Then it\'s just like singleplayer where you run around collecting items, slaying monsters, and advancin through lvls.. except that your doing it with friends (hopefully). You can set up strategies, brag, trade weapons, pull sneak attacks.. stuff like that. Ok.. kinda imagine a cross between Zelda and Final Fantasy where there are four Links controlled by 4 different characters who run around chatting with each other and exploring Hyrule.
It\'s a lot more complicated than that.. but that\'s the gist of it.
The Keyboard cost around 15 to 20 bucks depending on where you get it. You may be able to find a good used one at EB or Funcoland for 10 bucks. I forgot to mention that you must get a VMU as well. You\'ll need it for saving your character, obviously. All together you\'ll be lookin at spending about 180 bucks for the full setup if you buy it from most retail outlets. You could probably fanagle that down to about 120 through a PawnShop or maybe 50 bucks through Ebay if yer lucky. :D

He is probably playing right now. We usually play from 12 or 11 to 5 or 6. If you can last that long.

nah, we will give you a bunch of meseta so you can buy good stuff when you start, or I could donate some weapons, although you probably wont be able to use them :)
We will be with you so you wont die. There are things called Scape Dolls, that revive you if you die. But even without those, we have Reverser (revive spell) and Moon Atomizers (revive potion)

I would be playing tonight, but unfortunately, EVERY place I went to was sold out of Dreamcast. Im going to try some different places tomorrow before work. Sorry guys.

Alright dude, let us know when you\'ve got the setup so can figure out a time and place. I was gonna say that we could all start from lvl 1 again, seein as how my dude got CK\'d, but with the GS I built him back up almost as good as he was. (With some kick azz weapons to!)
Altered... I lost your card. I lost everyones card actually. Some jackazz wiped em out. So I\'ll need it again, and if you see Moonlight, Neo, Dark Angel (she\'s a lvl 50sumpthin Newman Hunter who dosen\'t have a KB), or @Meldly@/Pastel.. let them know what happened and have them get ahold of me.
