Ok picked it up before work,and i havent had a chance to play it,but i will let you know what i think after work,ok: )

It will be good to hear ethan. If you could let us know if there is any of the slowdown like in SSX and if it\'s 60hz

yea tell us a little about it as i saw it today, i also bought it but asive only just got onimusha i though id leave it for a bit. tell how good it is as not being a bball fan (i take it u dont love bball as you are from the uk and most people dont) cos i used to love basketball, but i dont anymore, its ok i just dont like it as much anymore.

Ok i have to say i love this game to bits,my brother and i have been playing it all night,it is sooo fun,the graphics are great,i havent seen any slow down,there isnt a 60 Hz option,but i think the game runs fast enough for me,there is a centering option which is really good,i would say get it with out a doubt,but the best thing of all is,i hate normal basketball games,because i always felt that the controls were ****,but even if you dont like BB i really think you will like this game,the controls are great,and in this game you can actually block shots,which i find you carnt do in other BB games.
Also if this is a sign of what is to come from EA big then they are going to have some big games on there hands,i just hope they could make a 5 a side football game(soccer to you people in the US),but with great locations like in Streets,and over the top moves.
So over all i love the game to bits,and it is going to keep me well happy till GT3 comes out,and after GT3 comes out.
I can post a review in a couple of days if you like,just let me know if you want me too, because i dont want to waste my time.

Cool thanks for the reply. Yeah post a review in a few days cause what you have said although sound great is probably from post shock of buying a good game. In a few days you will be more critical of it. :)

I simply havn\'t had time to get my teeth into it properly Ethan. I got this new broadband
thingimiebob and i\'ve been messing around on the net for the last 2 days.

Hey Ethan, What would you give the PAL converision out of 10 (is there any stuff ups? ie. black boarders, really shocking frame rates?)

Here (http://cgi.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.asp?board=161&topic=1019838) that the PAL conversion just plainly spoils the experience.. Do you agree with these people (on the link) as I WAS going to buy this game

Sounds like it really is the worst PAL converstion. I suppose the game will still be great, if like me you have only seen footage of the American one. Im going to go for Tokyo Xtreme Racer.

Well i havent played the us one so i carnt comapre the two games,but i would give the game 8 out of 10,also the frame rate has been fine,and i really havent noticed any slow down,and the only borders i have seen a small one at the top,but that could be because i have a wide screen tv,but i am not sure,but i would still say pick it up.
p.s my brother loves the game he is getting on my nerves to play the game this morning,but i said no because i wanted to watch some tv while i was surfing.
How good is it to have all the power HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah I was shocked to see this game on the shelves. It hasnt been out in the US that long and it\'s already here!!! We usually have to wait so long for most games. I just want to know why TMB is taking so long when NBA Street is here so quickly

Yes, there\'s been an awful overload of games here in Australia yesterday me and me mates went to local games shop and there were like 20 plus new ps2 games
No NBA Street though... :(

Sounds like multi-player is better on NBA Street then ssx.... Damn Split-Screen!
After Sled Storm 2 (eeek sounds like crap) I wonder whats next for EA SPORTS BIG.......
As i read in another post NHL Street would rock
but 5 a side soccer- with some sort of tricks.. THERE WOULD HAVE TO BE 8 Players and an indoor soccer arena!! Good idea Ethan!!

I can\'t believe you said that. heh. :) Onimusha Warlords has been one of the longest waits that us european gamers have had to wait for, sitting up there with the likes of The Bouncer and Gun Griffon Blaze.
Twisted Metal Black is a few months yet according to EB. :(

I love SSX to bits and i still play it to this day,which i got on launch day,and i love it for one player,probably better then Street,but to play Street with a mate is really cool,or at least i think so,me and my brother havent stoped playing the game since i got it.
Also the specials are really good in Street,you have to build up a bar,which is done by doing tricks,and blocking the computers shot and dunks,when you use it,it goes to like a cut scene,but is still in game,the music stops and all you hear is like bass,which sounds really cool,but the best bit is the lighting effect,it looks so cool,i remember the first time i saw it,my jaw hit the floor,it looked so good.

nba street is a great game. i got it on release day up here in the good ol\' USA. I\'ve been playing it ever since. I rarely play single player mode because i\'ve unlocked everything and i\'ve started to find it boring playing single player over and over but against a friend this game is just too much fun.

i havnt bben so hooked on a game since winning 11-5 this is stunning game (street) and i feel the pal conversion is just fine !

Street is my favorite game so far, my only complaints are that all the gamebreaker dunks are all the same, and the glass shattering on the backboard could have been a little better. My friend and I are competative as hell and both have maxed out created players.

i got this game the other day and i love it its so cool, i used to love bball, not so much now, infact i kinda dont like it anymore, but still do a bit, and i gotta say this game rocks. dont be put off if you dont like bball as this is sooooooo cool
