Well guys, I saw Scary Movie 2 today. That movie is soooo funny. It is now my second favorite movie, first still being The Fast and the Furious. I will probably go see it again sometime next week. :D
It was full of parodies, lots and lots! haha. Man I was laughing my ass off at certain things that I was the only one getting. Everyone else was quiet, except for me. :D My favorite part is the Charlie\'s Angels spoof. Omg, that was funny. They did all these "karate techniques". Like "drunken monkey" and "mad cow" (don\'t ask)... I guarantee that you will laugh so hard!!!! Man, I wanna go see it again. Okay I might as well spoil the whole movie for you.. haha... Go see it.

What\'s dumb about that Scary Movie scene you described is that the Charlie\'s Angels scene is ITSELF a parody of many many kung fu pictures of the past. Go see Drunken Master 2 (aka Legend of Drunken Master) for an example. Jackie Chan names several fictional fighting positions during one scene... "Monkey drink master\'s wine!" etc.
One more thing... You said your favorite movie is The Fast and the Furious, and your second favorite is Scary Movie 2, right? You said you were 17 in the other thread, right? You need to see more movies, my friend. I agree the Fast and the Furious was actually good, but it\'s not going to be one of my all time favorites. There were actually many good movies released before 2001, in case you were wondering. :laughing:

i refuse to see a movie that promotes fixing up honda civics and mitsubishi eclipses.
The typical attituse is "hmm should I dump 10000 into my 94 honda civic with 145000 miles or should i put a nice downpayment on a respectable sports car ? hmmm ill fix up my honda" I am sure junkyards now charge an arm and a leg for that r-type badge hahahahaha

Hey Jeepman, just get a Honda Accord Type-R and you\'ll see what a real car is! :)
Or a Honda S2000 if you want a convertible.

You can\'t really say anything about the fight scene in Scary Movie. Because the parody was a parody of Drunken Master. When she became Drunken Monkey, she actually started becoming a monkey instead of just saying "Monkey drink master\'s wine"
Yes, there may be many good movies before 2001, but how would you know I didn\'t see any of those movies and I happened to like these movies better? :laughing:

Hrrrmmm, doesn\'t sound very funny to me. I probably would have been one of those people who were quiet in the theater. Don\'t get me wrong, I think you\'re entitled to your opinion. I\'m just trying to understand how The Fast and the Furious is your favorite movie of all time. I saw it and I liked it, but it doesn\'t come anywhere close to my favorite of all time. Just wondering what you\'re comparing it to.

Are you sure it\'s funny, or forced funny? cause a lot of comedies try too hard to make you laugh, so they are not really funny. I like Dumb and Dumber types of funny. It is somehow not too forced. :D

Well maybe because recently I have been into the import racing scene and that contributes to me liking that movie since it is the first of its type (to my knowledge). Anyway, enough of that..
Well Toxical, if you liked the first one, you should like this one. It\'s alot like the first, lots of parodies of other movies. They also poke fun at stuff other than movies like missing Presidential ballots, Firestone tires, etc.
And that black haired chick, well I don\'t even know her name. It seems like she\'s only been in this series.. heh.

Sam, I used to work at an auto auction part time for fun. I have driven just about every honda out and quite a few other performance cars. Its nice to get an accord with a performance oackage but its still justa grocery getter in my opinion. As far as the s2000 goes i came very close to putting down a deposit on one because of its one unique quality. 9000 rpm\'s straight from the factory but the torque is comparable to a volkwagon beetle j/k but tis still weak in that department. I drove corvettes, mustangs, all things dodge (never did get a viper though), eclipses, lasers, camaros, a gmc cyclone and a gmc typhoon. ( the cyclone would literally kill anything that honda and just about every other manufacturer ever put out nsx, s2000 and vette included) and a few porsches.
I am sorry but these striped coffee can mufflered bumble bee sounding cars make my stomach churn, and I think anyone that is thinking of investing a ton of money in one should just save it and buy a real sports car because in the end you just can\'t polish a terd.

I guess in the end it depends on what you prefer... big muscle cars with loads of torque or a sophisticated racing experience that can pull up to 9000 rpm\'s. Personally I prefer the latter - manuel stick is a must of course - and you\'ll get a helluva nice kick maxing those babies out... :D
