Dang, my PS2 memory card has spoiled me! Today, during the bootup of my renting MX 2002, the screen said my memory card was full. Doh! Here I\'ve just been savin\' my a$$ off oblivious to how much space I\'d used (and just how much could be saved on one of these memory cards!!!). Gotta admit, its saving size is well worth the investment...but looks like I\'m gonna have to: a) delete some stuff -- bleh, I NEED all those saves right now!!!, or b) purchase a 2nd memory card...

Congradulations! That\'s the first time I\'ve heard of anyone even getting close to filling up their memory card!

i filled mine up, but i just deleted a bunch of stuff, and now i have enough room for gt3 on july 11th

Yeah, Falcon, I just reviewed mine too. Seems I had any number of game saves that were just "junk" from rentals I\'d done in the past. Lotsa good stuff too tho\' like my Red Faction saves & my TM:B stuff too! I saw a "Fantavision" save and was like, "Yeah, right!"...that one got the big flush and pronto! Same with a rental of 4x4 Evo...what a turd that one was (trucks blasting directly through visible objects that should have caused collision detection, replays that looked NOTHING like what I\'d driven, etc. Bleh).
Oh, and a keeper was my Dynasty Warriors 2 save...dang, I\'d forgotten just how far I\'d gone in that game (before some other sweet game took my attention away from it...)...
Ever notice how gaming is a lot like being single but on the dating scene (yeah, I know I\'m about 12 years removed...so what!!!)? You see some new game & its fun and all and you "want to play with it"... Its like cheating on a girlfriend or something...then later you say, "hey, I want some more of THAT good lovin\' I had before" and there ya go back to that other jelly. Mmmmm...

Gotta delete some useless crap. :D

ya i have about 7 meg left :) delete my junk everytime i finish with a rental

Leave it to Sony to trick you guys into thinking you got a good deal. After selling a woefully underpowered card for the psx they decided to sell a card that could save more than a few games which is what the other should have done in the first place. We have the priveledge of spending $35 on it too.

It is shipping July 10th, and will be in all stores July 11th. Call the store you are getting it from and ask them.
The thing I don\'t like about the memory cards is that the pictures take up more memory than the actual data. For example, the TTT save icon is a picture of Xiaoyu, and it takes up 360 KB. While a Street Fighter EX3 icon is just a cube with a picture on it. It only takes up 15 KB! While the 3d icons are cool, developers should try to save us a little memory.

Holy crap it takes 360K just for a picture? I better get moving then and start removing some TTT saves.

When mine fills up, I\'ll just delete all the hidden characters I got from Street Fighter Ex 3.... I can even believe I wasted my time getting all those extra characters.

well i filled up my first memry card mucho long time ago
but maybe thats because i own 12 games and i want all those saves - well my second one is less than half w ay so its all good

Wow, I never checked my card much and boy do I have alot of stuff on it.I have alota rental stuff my ps2 imports(GT3)and all of my U.S games.I need to get rid of some of this stuff!

They said it held 64 times the space of the original PlayStation memory card. I don\'t think that sounds right. I think they should have made a 64MB memory card...that would sound about right.

I filled mine up but I just deleted all those useless saves, my untracked save for SSX takes up so much space

Man, i have five megs of space being taken up by my specifications (time, country etc.).

I have never gotten past 4 megs of taken up space.

I got about 3,500 KB free on my card..
And I heard GT3 only takes up about 91kb :)
So I can save 38½ times :)
