Title: japanese ps2 playing original US games

i am just wondering if anyone know of any way how i can use my japanese PS2 - 15000 to play original US games?  Cuz i am really looking forward to english version of MGS2 since the game won\'t be much fun if i don\'t know what they are talking about.. Thanks.

may i ask why you bought a japanese playstation 2 if you don\'t understand the language?

Many Japanese games are almost entirely in English or require no real knowledge of Japanese. You could easily enjoy a game like GT3 without knowing a lick of Japanese.
