Title: vf 4 vs. tekken 4? Which one looks better?

Which on is going to look better? So far vf4 characters look alot more detail, but the backgrounds tekken4 has a bigger walk space. Tekken 4 backgrounds are also interactive unlike vf4.  Both games are going to be awesome. So which one do you guys think looks better?

Tough one to call, I like em both.
I would pick Tekken though, cause I played it more then VF at this point.  Graphically speaking I would pick VF at this point, although I don\'t think we can really compare the pictures cause VF is not running on PS2 hardware at this point right?

Both are just arcade so far but they will most definatly look as good if not better on PS2.

VF4 has interactive backrounds and levels, much more so than Tekken 4.

eroding land and breakable walls, etc.

VF4 looks better so far IMO, but I am biased because of my strong distaste for Tekken.

VF4 by far. I\'m not impressed with Tekken 4 at all though.

Graphically, I am not sure yet.  But if we are talking about the level setups, I\'d have to go with Tekken 4.

Virtua Fighter 4 levels are "rings."  Some levels have walls on the sides of the rings, some levels just let you drop out of them for ring outs, and some levels make you force an apponent through a wall to get a ring out.  But in the end, they are all just rings.  From the review I read at IGN, the backgrounds are beautiful, but not being able to reach them sucked.

In Tekken 4, the levels vary in size and shape, and they also have breakable objects.  Some levels are long and skinny (the garage), some are huge and free-roaming(the airport).  Tekken 4 also has something that the VF series got rid of, elevation changes in the levels.

I still think it\'s a little too early to judge this though, because I want to see both in person before I make a decision.

yea i agree with Ironfist here

to me Characters = VF4 while Backgrounds = Tekken 4

either way there is some great fighting games coming to us

You and me both. I personally think the VF4 screens are a lot more graphically impressive than the Tekken 4 screens. I recorn Tekken 4 will win it on the PS2 though where graphics are concerned.
