(7:12AM)- Capcom vs SNK 2 Millionaire Fighting 2001 has been announced for both the PlayStation 2 and Dreamcast which is nothing new. However what is new is the revelation this morning that BOTH versions are compatible with each other online.
Yes according to Capcom, the game, which hits Japanese shelves on on Sept 13 for both systems with a suggested retail price of 6,800 yen, will offer Dreamcast gamers the ability to fight against PlayStation 2 owners online.
The new martial arts game allows users of Dreamcast and PS2 machines to find counterparts on lobby servers operated by KDDI Corp and fight each other online.
KDDI\'s multimatching system also permits users to play the new game via connecting modems and without signing onto ISPs.
Capcom said the firm also plans to develop more online games that can be played regardless of differences in hardware.
There\'s no word on the US versions but we will keep an eye on this development.
How good will that be to play agianst each other,i really have to try this one out: )

Lets hope it does come to the DC in the US. Interesting... that means both versions will be identical and arcade perfect. No loading times = the best part of next gen 2d fighters. Lets just hope none of those scrubs from shoryuken.com play online... those guys are crazy insane fighters.

Obviously you have never seen me play Streetfighter. This is game is a tad different, as in a simpler button routine, but it\'s pretty much the same at it\'s core. We shall all do battle, if it only comes out for PS2 in America, I will find a PS2 - DC or PS2 - Saturn controller convertor. If I could find a Saturn one, especially the NiGHTS pad, you guys would die, without a doubt :)

If the DC one comes to America, there is a big chance, but if there is none, I would bet that Capcom will just axe it through lack of support on PS2 modem\'s side.

The number one thing I am looking forward to is putting Rock Howard at the top of my team evenly matched with Ryu. His raging storm is an excellent anti-air super that is easily pulled off much like that of Ken\'s rising dragon punch super. Personally, I wish Terry looked like he did in Garou rather than how he does in Fatal Fury. I like that tough large build moreso then his slender wussy build he has now. In any case, I\'d trade all my "wants" for high-res art. :(

The number one thing I am looking forward to is finding someone I like as much as Ryu, Ken, and Akuma. Those three are too easy to play. Like Ryu mentioned, use the crossups and then go to small punches and trip up combos, finished with a nice super move. Dragon uppercut anything coming at you in the air. And use other strategies that I won\'t reveal until I actually play you. ;) It\'s hard not to win with them. I want someone knew that I love to play just as much.
Urine (sp? pronunciation? :)) in SF3 is very cool and powerful, but I don\'t think he\'s in this game. :( Does anyone know if Sodom is back? I played a mean Sodom back in the day with SFA3. Guile is great, but he was designed to be a turtler (or a corner trapper ;) he he he.)

What I always do with him is Throw up the wall super of his twice, cornering the person in between to of the walls, then kick the crap out of them as they will be continually hit.
Does SNK v. Capcom 2 have techs in them? if they did that would be heaven! that is what makes SF3 so good!
