Title: Final Fantasy Is Doing Good At The Box Office.

Yes FF out grossed cats and dogs, AND scary movie too. for it\'s opening day of wensday.

it opend with a $2,612,157 with C&D bringing in $2,589,484, and scary movie bringing in  1,792,364. The three day total for the movie is 7million I say that is damn good. I myself said the movie will bomb.

Although I think with a movie having a 137million dollar budget it is going to take a whole lot of dollars to make a profit on this one. But seeing how the score opens up this week it is sure to be a big hit. I am going to see the score tomarrow. And jurasstic park opens up next week. So FF will have to go up against to heavy hitter along with C&D, Scarymovie2, and AI. Bye the third week I expect FF too be dead I mean there is noway it can live through all this competiton, and plus the third week is the big open of planet of the apes.


Who knows ff could make 16million this week. And kill everything else. I highly doubt it but it could happen.

you think 7 million is good for a weekend opener?

Looks like this one will sink faster than I thought, I will probably go tomorrow, although I heard the storyline and voice acting is suited best for A.I. (read: robotic)

I mean we all know the movie is not going to open with the 20,30, or 40million dollar opener. BUt I mean at least for a little while fans ran out to see. I suspect bye next week or the third week the fantasy will be over.

I saw A.I. and IMO it was better than Final Fantasy. I was a little putdown that there were no summons, then the movie would kick ass.

Small chance that they will surpass 137 million or even make it close to breaking even. Oh well. I will just wait till it comes out on DVD, then I\'ll watch it. :D

I always look for week 2 weekends, if the movie does well then, it has a chance IMO to make some money, else it will sink faster then a Titanic on Ice.
