what a great movie!
graphics 9/10: the voice to lip movement could have been better. the Hawk (Or falcon) at the end was awesome.
Story 9/10: the general using the big gun........didnt see that coming from a mile away (maybe i\'m just a bit jaded because I play final fantasy and someone always fires something). I always like self sacrifice movies....Little slow at the begining......but it picked up nicely.
Sound 9/10: I went to a theater with Digital Audio (not dolby digital). the sounds were great!
Overall 9/10

Sounded like a game review for some odd reason.
*Note: I am not trying to make a crack at the Final Fantasy series or Squaresoft in any way, shape, or form, I was merely saying that the formatting of this thread seemed oddly game review-esque.

hey this is my first attempt at a review :)

I agree. I really thought Cid was done very well and was the most realistic looking character of the bunch. And yeah...that eagle at the end kicked @$$! :D

cid was done very well......I hope this is what the FF games will become in the future....that would rock

I haven\'t seen the movie yet, but I have heard that it would have been much better as a 40+ hour videogame. I won\'t agree or disagree with that until I see the movie, though.

Cid was dope... he was the only person I thought looked real... everyone else you could tell...

TR rocked! Everyone I know has gone and seen it more than once... It\'s no wonder it\'s done so well, ensuring at least 2 sequels.

I think it would have been better as a 40 hour game. You just don\'t get the chance to love the characters in 1 1/2 hours. The story and dialogue was straight from a FF game corny humor and all. While that\'s bad for somewhat who doesn\'t play FF I found it comforting. The themes and plot are what really attach this to the FF name. The only scene that really seemed out of place to me was the kiss scene, don\'t know why, it just didn\'t work right. My biggest complaint for the movie was Grey (Why did they have to put Ben Affleck in the movei?

You know that is funny. That is the second person who has mentioned that. My friend who saw the movie with me thought it was Ben Affleck. If I am correct, Grey was actually Alec Baldwin\'s character. Either way, I think Ben just has one of those \'generic\' faces.

I saw the movie and thought it was great. Some of the humor was bland but otherwise the movie was done very well. I just wished that the movie would stray from the typical FF storyline . I\'m not saying the storyline was bad it just would have been a refreshing change.
One of my friends also commented on the ben affleck face. Maybe its a conspiracy? Well probably not but it makes you think.
