Title: Should they be called \'Video Games\' ?

i posted this thread a long time ago, and i think it was on different forums also, so i was wondering if we can start some discussion in here, on whether or not they should be called videogames?

what do you think and why?

I think they should be called DVDgames, because most are on DVDs...

Just because it has been called video games for a long time is a good enough reason.

Nothing\'s wrong with it. Changing it would be like changing the United States\' name to "We Voted Bush President" or something. :D

Did that make sense? haha.

Verily.  I totally agree, it makes sure we keep to our roots, and make quality number one.

I call them Computer Games. Heh.

Nah I do use the word Videogames too. :)
