Title: Ok, I\'m ready to buy a ps2. Is one place better than others?

Does anybody run any deals like a percentage off for order of a certain amount.

Can I get the extended warranty anywhere I buy it?  How much is it?  How long does it cover the ps2?

Is the extended warranty worth it?

I bought mine at EBX where it was the regular price of 300 bucks.  They have an in-store warranty of 30 days which is good because if there happens to be a problem with the ps2 it will show up in that time period.  Also they are running a deal where if you trade in your N64 or PS1 along with a certain number of games (sorry I dont know the exact number) you can get 100 bucks knocked off the price.

Best Buy has in store exchange also, plus offers an extended warranty for $30. For the most part I feel extended warranties are a ripoff but in this case it might be worth it. Call around
