I just played the demo and I must say This game has the most breath taking graphics I have EVER seen.
I am talking about computer games as well.
The charaters are animated perfectly and the realtime shadows are stunning.
When I first started playing I thought.
"Hey, nice cutscene"
Until my character didnt start moving and then I touched the pad and he moved.
This game destroys gran tuismo in graphics.
And its not like this game achieves it through lots of fog, or terribe draw distance, there is almost no fog, and you can see for a long way when looking around.
The water is very defined and realistic looking, and there are close to no load times at all.

Yes it looks very nice ( I watched someone else playing it). One of the true AAA games this year. I hope people aren\'t too distracted with more well known games, and decide to grab this...

Its in this months PS2 underground Jampack.
It also has Klonoa two which was quite impressive, and Soul Reaver 2 which was....err....dissapointing.

I got the Ps2 underground demo with ICO .I thought I got the wrong demo because I didn\'t understand the menu\'s on how to get to the playable demos but then I saw that you had to go all the way to the top of that tower looking thing,anyways I like the game it\'s beautiful textures and water effects are the best I have every seen it\'s amazing.I havn\'t played any other game on the demo so I\'ll go and play them right now

That sounds great, is the demo only included as an exclusive with PS2 underground? OR might it appear in any other PS2 magazines? :D

Yes,I think the demo is a ps2 under ground exclusive. I bought my copy at the mall. ICO is running at 60 fps it\'s great

:) I am just about to go nutz. I get mad cuz the online deal with SONY, then the HDD sells out in an hour! I was upset of barely any AAA games. Now theres gonna be like 5 in a 3 month period. :sconf:

I\'ve seen some movies of this game, and it does look extremely interesting. It kind of looks like plays something like Zelda, which can only be a great thing.
ICO along with Devil May Cry are the two PS2 which have peeked my interest the most. :)

Nothing like Zelda.
You (ICO) find a girl in a cage and free her. After that you must literally guide her by the hand thru the castle. When the shadow monsters show up to take her back, you have to let go of her hand and whack em with your 2x4.
Once you are free of shadow baddies (which only appear rarely-- the game is mostly puzzles) you must guide the girl to the next area.
The game (demo) is a hoot!! You press R1 to call her/hold her hand. When you climb up blocks, you then call her and ICO will bend down and offer his hand. She will grab it and you\'ll pull her up.
There\'s NO life bar, NO magic, nothing but you and her. I believe the only way to lose is if she gets taken away, or killed, and of course if you die. I fell off the damn windmill cause I was moving around too much:)

I downloaded some mpgs some time ago and the game is amazing: lights, shadows, characters, scenaries, animation... a great game.

In ICO you have to use some thinking in order to figure out how to save the girl it\'s very interesting.Most of the demo is very silent there is no music (maybe it\'s just because it\'s a demo and music hasn\'t been put in the game yet) Like CygnusXI said it\'s nothing like Zelda it\'s very different from any thing you\'ve seen in a game.

I was thinking of subscribing to Playstation Underground so I could play all of the demos like this. Is it worth it, or should I just save my money?
