I saw this movie tonight and im just not too sure what to think of it.
Quality of the dinosaurs images--not as good
Quality of the action scenes--awesome
Plot--pretty much none existant
Characters--well done
Spineosauras--not nearly as cool as the t-rex
Well...let me hear your feed-back.

I saw it tonight with my G/F (was her treat). I personally hated "The Lost World" so I was skeptical on enjoying this has I have yet to really enjoy a movie this summer , \'Cept Shrek.(blah. Tomb Raider. Final Fantasy. Scarey Movie 2). I came out rather surprised.
The CGI was lacking in some departments but it was still really good. The story in part was cliche\' but still rather fun. Mindless fun. But fun. The acting was excellent. Sam Neil is just an amazing actor. The sound was just friggin\' amazing. All in all it is a great summer movie. Nothing mindblowing story was, but enough action to keep you interested. The best part is, like the first movie, it has you suspend belief for awhile and wonder what it would be like to be on that island. Something the second failed to do.

I thought it was worth my $7...

It was far better than the second, not as good as the first. That\'s a little vague though, considering how that description fits hundreds of movies ;)
The action was great. I\'d go into elaboration but I really don\'t want to spoil anything. The plot is pretty simple; they really just go straight to the action. That isn\'t a bad thing at all, though. All in all it was a superb movie, a much better sequel than #2 was.

Personally, I am not too fond of dinosaurs or dinosaur movies for that matter. :) This can wait till dvd/video comes out. hehe

I thought it was a very good movie. The only thing that I did not like about was the ending. It lacked the certain spark that the 1st one had. That is all I will say because I don\'t want to ruin anything.
My favorite part was the "birdcage" part. That was completely awesome.
I was sad about the lack of appearance from the T-rex! Except for that one part.

well i think it was good maybe slightly better than the second one - the plot of the second was better but the action was better in this one
plus i think that this one was too much focused on the family and stuff - hence the pg-13 rating and also the lovey dubey parents and kid
but all in all its a good movie

We actually loved both Jurassic Park and Lost world, but to me, the ending completely ruined the Lost World. Clichè, cheesy.
I will definetely go and see JP3, but I\'ll just have to be patient and wait for the movie to hit the theaters here. I hate it that Finland gets about EVERY movie much later than you lucky ones in USA and mid-Europe...

I liked it, but the ending came pretty abruptly. All the talk about this one haveing more dinos than the first two combined was pretty far off too. Don\'t go expecting a long movie either, from the beginning to right before the credits is only 80 minutes. It really seems like they could have made some of the scenes longer, like the T Rex vs. Spinosaurous. The dinosaurs looked fine to me, actually better than in the other two, they looked more detailed to me.
Darth Joyda, you could d/l the vcd of it if you have broadband then if you like it go to the theatre and see it.
One other thing, weren\'t there Pterodactyls flying around the island at the beginning of The Lost World? I haven\'t seen it in a while but could have sworn I saw some flying around at the beginning of it.

I absolutely agree with you Darth Joyda. Anyway I love the films that have got some special effects :)

I really liked how the phone figured into everything in this movie. Kind of a crocodile from Peter Pan idea, if you know what I mean.
I dunno.

I was upset the T-Rex got beaten, they ruined the tradition of him being the King. *sniff*:(

They should\'ve had two T rexes there against that big dude. That would\'ve ruled :)

I thought this was the worst waste of 5.50$ ever, I was like the movie is ok during the middle then that sorry ass ending, what the hell

I thought it turned out pretty good considering Steven Spielberg was only the executive producer. The sound effects in the movie were pretty awesome, and the new roar from the Spinosaurus was pretty friggin\' scary. There was basically no plot, and Sam Neill was the best part of the movie. He\'s always "Da Man". Anyway...the CGI wasn\'t as good as the others, but it came pretty darn close. It was a very short movie though. So short, in fact, that I almost decided to go movie hopping to Final Fantasy, but I promised my friend that I\'d see it with him (awwwwww...;)). It was an overall enjoyable movie. I don\'t know where you guys live, but it cost me $8.50 for one friggin\' person to see a movie here in Southern California. Sheesh.
The movie was the third best of the series (positive talk for worst of the 3).

I live in Kentucky. The local cinema plays movies for $2 dollars. It was my G/F\'s treat this time around though, so it was free for me. Which may be the reason I enjoyed it so much. But, I doubt it. I paid the same price to see The Fast and Furious, Final Fantasy and Tomb Raider and I pretty much hate each of those movies.

I might go watch it...the prices around here depend on if they are in Didgital or not......it is worth every cent if it is in digital
