Here you are the first pics ever from the early FFXI, they´re in bad quality but it´s the only you can see about the game until now.

Looks cool. Today I saw the FFXI trailer on TV (NBC GIGA on NBC europe) This pics are from the trailer so the quality is not sooo high. This game is so ****ing cool, but the release date in europe and the money you have to pay.....

Uh...........it looks cool, but is it still turn-based?  I\'m not sure how a real-time ff game would be?  This ought to be interesting.

ya real time would... be very different would that be the first real time FF or was there one on GB or something i think

Wow, gorgeous. That waterfall pic looks almost photorealistic. Course that might just be because the pics are small and blurry. Nehow, it looks great. They\'d HAVE to get rid of the turnbased style of previous FF for this one. There\'s just no way around it... weird as it might be. Maybe it\'ll do Square some good, and give them ideas on how to make FF XII realtime rather than turnbased.

I just hope it\'s got more substance than PSO. I mean, PSO is great game don\'t get me wrong... but unless you\'re online there\'s not much of a point to it.

This doesnt look like a final fantasy at all :( .  I know each one always tries to re-invent the series but please please please don\'t do the real people thing again like in ff8.  It takes away from that certain final fantasy feel.  Tell me this isnt FF.

From what i\'ve seen, the game looks rather like a AD&D-RPG than like a japanese-style rpg. But i think it will still be an awesome game, although i will miss the old usual graphics-style for FF-charakters.

I think it looks cool, but it shouldn\'t be called FFXI. It should be called FFOnline, but we really have\'nt seen actual gameplay.

I made a remark to that effect at some post, can\'t remember though.  I totally agree.  They shouldn\'t "experiment" with the proven formula and give it an official series title.  Oh well.  I hope it works out for the best!

Yeah since it will have a different feel  (not a bad thing either) then other FF Square should start off with Final Fantasy Online 1.


Or hell just make us a great RPG and call it  something completly different.

The FF is too powerful I guess and the name FF added to any project automatically increases sales which means biigger budget, which is cool

those pics are absolutely fantastic...me and a friend will probably get this game together

i also think it should be called FF:Online...maybe they just dont want to rip off Phantasy Star Online

It\'ll be very interesting to see how things turn out on FFXI. The pics look really great - but I\'m not yet sure whether I like the Online-feature or not; I\'d still prefer FFX over this.

But time will tell.
