The_Rickster got GT3 from EB today - oh my god, it\'s fu*king brilliant, not played it much yet, but managed to drag myself away to write this - GT mode, here i come baby!!

So where did you get it from in the end ? Was it sealed ?
Also whats the conversion like ? 50/60Hz ? Screen Centering ? Big / Small boarders ? Frame Rate ? etc

I\'m glad to hear that people are pleased with this conversion,
like i said in the GT3 forum, imho it\'s the best NTSC to PAL conversion available.
Go have fun... i\'ll check the boards tomorrow as things should be heating up for the UK release of GT3.
I wonder if any of you in the UK will be unable to sleep tonight.

yea i got mine yesterday aswell(thurs) havent stopped playing it yet, it soooooooo good. guess the forums gonna slow down a bit now as everyone will be playing this game

Managed to drag myself away, there is sc RichGUK, but you probably know this by now as i hope you have got it. The arcade mode is huge - loads of different tracks to unlock, i have unlocked about 25 so far. The rally mode is great, you hardly have to break as the car just slides around the corner.
Just started GT mode, bought myself an MX5 and passed the two B licenses and rallyu license so far.
This game absoluteley rocks!!

just got mine (Friday midday) but aint going to be able to play it till tonight.... but bring it on.... mind you think Ill be drink driving as Im out clubbing too.. what a splendid start to the weekend

Great news to hear that you got the game,is is sooo ****ing cool isnt it.Did you get the game with the wheel?if you didnt then that is the next thing for you to get,it is even better with the wheel,once you have gone around a rally track with the wheel,you will love the thing to death.
Next week after we have all had time to play it,we should post our times,to see how we compare to each other: )
p.s did anyone get the offical ps2 mag this month,with the interview with KAZ?if you did,go to the bit where they talk about the music side of the game,and there is a bit when it goes to a guy working at his deak,well on the desk is a speaker,they are the same speakers that i have hooked up to GT3,and it sound amazing through them,just thought i would let you know: )

Got mine too, one problem:
B8 Gold is 42.800 in PAL version but 43.000 in NTSC version
43 secs is hard enough but 42.8!!
Took me 2 hours to get gold B1 through 7
I have been on B8 ALL DAY!!!
Anyone done it? Shall I just skip it?

Mmmm... that makes you wonder eh? either
A. the times are tougher or
B. The Pal version is slightly faster than the NTSC version.
All in all i think that it\'s good to have a trickier version. i\'m yet to try the licences properly, iv\'e only bronzes

Yeah, i\'m not really fussed about golds, what do they get you anyway, just scraped silver on b8 by 0.003 seconds!

i dunno what you get when you get all golds, you used to (on gt1&2) some cars that i think you couldnt get in the game

When you come first on the 5 that you get at first, you unlock another 5, come first in them and unlock another and so on and so on. I think theres about 25 - 30 in total

I think that The_Rickster is right because when you go to the bit where you see how much you have cleared in arcade mode,there are about 30 courses on there,but i think that some of them are the courses backwards,but i hope they arnt.
So how are you all getting on with the game?i am loveing it to death,carnt stop playing!

Yeah, there are about 35 in total, but a lot are backwards, i\'d say just over half are original courses, but never mind, the wet course isout f this world, its great fun, check out my post about it in the GT3 forum

I\'m currently working through the arcade mode Ethan, yes, some of the circuits are backwards
but they just look so different. they are totally different in the respect of challenge, driving lines are different and
obviously braking areas differ. I\'m playing it through on hard so i can unlock all the little extras.
I think that iv\'e done about 15 races on hard and come 1st. This is the 1st game iv\'e played in
ages that\'s got me purely hooked. i found the more you play it the harder it becomes to pull yourself away.
Top stuff, especially without the tcm and all other stuff turned on. The physics model is astounding, esp
when you play with the Denso supra. man talking about it makes me stiff :p

Can anyone tell me if the game has got full screen antialising? I´ve it but really, I don´t know exactly this point.
