What games were the best for SNES in your opinion? Feel free to make a list and eleborate on your choices. :)
-
good thread :)
First of all i\'d have to take Zelda 3: A Link to the Past. One of the shining titles on the system, and for a system with so many that really says something. This game took the series to new heights, and provided some of the best 2-D adventure gaming on the little grey box
Super Mario Kart- A simple, yet uncontrollably addictive and fun game. It just had so much going for it, and it didn\'t take itself too seriously. Great fun, and the battle mode just owned.
Super Metroid: One of my favourite games of all time, and probably my favourite ever 2D sidescrolling game. I can\'t tell you how much time I\'ve spent on this game. I ended up just going to see how fast I could finish it (I ended up getting 2 hours 3 minutes on two occasions! That\'s a damn good record!). UNBELIEVABLY good gameplay, and just all round coolness
Donkey Kong Country: Another great step in 2-D gaming. Absolutely brilliant graphics, a game which pushed the SNES harder than it had ever been pushed before, and just all round fun gameplay
Equinox: I loved the first game in the series (solstice on the NES), and this game bettered it times 1000. EXCELLENT soundtrack, some of my fave ever in game music, it was so ambient and went so well with the game. Excellent puzzles generated with timing and eye tricks. VERY cool game
No time to list more, i will later

You are right! The multiplayer mode was cool. But you can beat it in 15 minutes, so you haven\'t got fun after a few days in the singleplayer mode.
-
there is no such thing as Lost in time TMNT...it Turtles in time..
-
1.Super Mario World
2. Super Metroid
3. Zelda: A Link To The Past

And the rest are in no particular order:

NHL 96

Donkey Kong Country 1-3

Yoshi\'s Cookie
You\'ve never played Mario RPG?! Alright, right now you need to stop whatever you are doing and go out and find that game!
-
:(
1. Paper Mario for the N64 is good enough for me.
2. I\'m entitled to my own opinion, and I expect at least partial respect.
-
ZELDA and MARIO CART!
Those have got to be the best SNES games EVER! (If I had to pick the top two, that is.)

Wolfenstein was not to bad but had a lot of square\'s like a bad PS1 game. Somewhat of a disappointment.
Doom exactly like the PC version.

No disrespect intended. I\'m just saying if you ever see the game sitting in a used bin somewhere, you should probably get. That\'s all.
