about 3 or 4 days ago i started getting e-mailes that are attached to files wich are viruses, i mean iv been getting a GRIP of them, i have reason to beleive that it\'s either the i love you virus or a revised version, i am to smart to open any of these demon seed attachment\'s but i am wondering if anyone else has gotten one of these?
they will have a persons name, all the ones i have recieve have different names & titles BUT the e-mail says the same thing every time, something about "here is the answer to your question, thanks."
and it iwll either have a pif. file or a dll. file or something, i know the I love you viruses was attached to pif. files thats why i know this isn\'t an ordinary e-mail, i have gotten them in english, spanish, about playstation 2 "wich brings me to beleive it may be someone in these forums that knows i love my ps2" the titles are always different but the inside is always the same thing.... im starting to get worried because i must have received about 20- 30 emails of this viruse already....
has anyone else had this problem?
and if the person thats been sending me these e-mails is reading this... YOU CANT FADE ME BIATCH!

Oh I guess I should stop sending them to you then... :p

Maybe you shouldn\'t have your email address visible on this forum. I have my hidden, and it looks like Samwise does too. PM is good enough for anyone who wants to reach me. It\'s just a normal precaution. (I\'m not saying spammers/virus mailers got your address from this forum, but it would be possible to do it with a little script...)

There is a website called "Hack Attack." On it you can download a program called "Nutcracker." It\'s a form that you fill out, with the name you want to call a new virus, define it\'s behavior, and decide when it is to be activated, and what it will do. In less than three minutes you have created a virus. Be warned, unless you have a fake IP, they can easily trace the path the virus has taken.
It\'s just so dang easy to make a virus these days.

I use my e-mail filter. I only put in e-mails that I want to receive. It sends everything to my junk folder. I check it once in a while to see if it accidentally deleted an e-mail from one of my friends. You get this option in hotmail. And just about every other mail server (unless they suck). Viruses suck. I got a virus on my computer once. A screen popped up and asked me if I wanted to erase my hard drive...with a "yes/no" option. Of course...I was confused, and I pushed no. It started (pretended) to delete my hard drive. It went on for 25 minutes.. I even restarted the computer...and the same screen popped up. It didn\'t do anything, but it scared the c**p out of me. Not fun at all.

I have several bogus hotmail accounts. Any time I sign up for something I use that email address. As a matter of fact I think I signed up with my dog\'s email address for my PS2Central account.
