Only 27%???

Who are these 73%, 0-10 posters?

(Other than they ask one question, then leave.)

What about the 0 posters?

I check-in on a daily basis, but post infrequently. Debating game/systems does not interest me, and quite frankly, detracts from my gaming experiences. Off-topic on occaision, but usually I\'ll hint at my existence in the main forum.

I suppose I\'m a part-time apparition around here, and I\'ve been floating around since late 99 (yeah I know, a year before I registered). I hang around cause this place is a decent forum, with a high percentage of reasonable people, and for the most part, a relatively informed place in regards to gaming.

I personally have no inclination to reply to most threads, but have absolutely no problem with those who do.

My maing grudge is seeing all these peeps that sign up, and don\'t post at all.  There is no reason to register if you won\'t post.

Just wondering, where do these stats come from? It\'d be kind of cool to look to look at this kind of stuff. They should just have accounts expire after a period of non-activity, like Hotmail.

I went to the MemberList, clicked on "Top 20 Posters" and scrolled through until there were people with 10 posts or less.  Turns out the first 46 pages have 11+ posts.  So, 46 x 20 (there are 20 names per page) is 920.  So then I divided 920/3415 (the number of members listed on the home page of the forum), and BAM!  27%.

Actually, it\'s 29 posts a day.  And yes, I\'ve been here for 1 month, 8 days and counting, no name change.

been one of them too hehe but lately i onlt have time to drop by and see whats going on here - at least till i get my new PC

but anyway it doesn\'t surprise me about all those people that don\'t post - who cares - its like that at every forum

wait, how do you get those stats? i would like to know where i am, and troglodyte, did you see my big long thing i made about how many people that are on these boards? i could revive it, if you want to see, its Quite a peice of stats...

oh yeah, i almost forgot, im near 1000, cool, ill be and old dude,,

Across from the "Message Board" logo is seven buttons.  Click MEMBERS.  There is a choice to list them by "Top 20 posters."
