Title: Can you back up PS1 Memory card stuff on PS2 Memory cards?

I think I heard this some where, and if you can, how do you do it?

stick the PS1 and PS2 mem cards in, and copy the PS1 game data to the PS2 games

this only acts as a backup, and you cannot access PSX games from the PS2 card...but it will be there in case you need tto wipe the data from your PSX card

thats cool. Why cant u acces it from the ps2 card though?

Wow, I should have this in a text file, then cut & paste!

The PS1 software is set to recognize the "block system" of ps1 mem cards.  Since the ps2 card isn\'t set up that way, it can\'t find the divisions of the files.
