Just curious as to which game is the best, why? The IGN top 25 PS games intrigued me to post. :D
I like 9th the best so far.
-
I liked 8 the best of 7,8,9
7 was too gloomy, and I absolutely hated the sudden death of what\'s-her-name.
I don\'t think that 9 was up to par.
-
i like FF6 the best...
-
9 had the most emotional ending, so it get\'s "Best Ending" award:)
7 Though, was overall my favorite:)
-
Final Fantasy Tactics was by far the best in the series.
Nothing can compare to its brilliance.
-
Ya i thought nine had the best ending, i really though he was...... well u know, but overall i liked 7 the best:)
-
FFVII
-
9 had the best ending by far, little Vivi\'s running everywhere :D .
Still, 7 was probably the best cause... well I dunno why but it just was. :)
-
I read my rpg text aloud because my wife likes to watch and it makes it funner (is that a word??)
I give all the characters their own voices. You should\'ve heard Vivi\'s voice...It was sooo cute:)

ive only played 7, 8, and a bit of 9 as i wanted to play the ps2 version, so it pained me in taking it back:mad:  :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: but id have to say seven, i found the story line and the actually whole game of 8 lacking compared to 7, squall was such a gimp, and you could see thngs in the story miles b4 they happend

Final fantasy tactics is my favorite with 7 in a close 2nd. Tactics was just addictive and the character development and storyline were the best.
-
well i gotta say 9 was awesome in so many ways that 7 was not but on the other hand so was 7 - 9 was happy and 7 was dark so it really depends on my mood as to which is coolest
i am undecided

I, yes I, have played EVERY SINGLE FINAL FANTASY. So I am naturally better than YOU.
1. VII: It, to me, had the best atmosphere. I liked all the characters, except Yuffie. The Death scene IMO was brilliant, I never, ever saw that coming (cause no idiots spoiled it for me:)) Sephiroth was the second-best villian ever. Cid was playable:)
2. VI: I have this one notch below FFVII simply because I think there were too many characters. Honestly, who ever used Umaro or Strago or Relm or Gau if they didn\'t have to? With that out of the way, the story was sheer brilliance, the setting was awesome, music rocked, and Kefka was the best, funniest, most evil villian in the entire series, hands down:)
3: IX: An almost perfect blend of FF7 and FF6, had lots of weapons, lots of openness, and classes! Storyline wasnt quite FF6/7 calibur, but an enjoyable experience nontheless.
4: IV: One of the first RPGs I ever played, had, for its time, great graphics, music that still outclasses most games, and an epic storyline that spans three worlds. A definite gem.
5: VIII: Certainly wasn\'t all it was hyped to be, but not bad by any stretch. There weren\'t enough characters, and very few changes in weaponry, which I didn\'t like, and it was too short. But it would have been much more enjoyable had the expectations not been so high.
6: I: The original, played very slowly. Those of you weaned on the PSX FF\'s will be amazed at how far it\'s come since this. There\'s no character development at all, and the storyline\'s really dumb, but at the time, this was AAA.
7: V: I just never could like this game for some reason. The story didn\'t make a bit of sense to me. The environments were nice, but there needed to be more development, definitely.
8: II: Couldn\'t read a damn bit of the thing.
9: III: Ditto.
10. Mystic Quest: Utter, complete crap. Too easy, too simplistic, totally un-Square.
11: FF Tactics: I suck at these strategy games, so I only got about halfway into it, and now i cant find the game:(
